@Bitter:
After passing the trials of many an adventure, the party makes their way toward the city of Sapwick for rest and resupply. As they reach the outlying farmlands, however, they find an early winter threatens the harvest and hangs a shroud of gloom over the land. Up ahead, a palisade has been raised to protect the farmlands, but it is badly damaged in several areas. The smoke from a burning wagon chokes out the familiar smell of the village hearth, and a corpse with two large spears sticking out of its back lies in the road…
This section describes preceding events pertaining to the module's plot, setting, and characters.
The City of Sapwick and the mountains surrounding it form the backdrop for this adventure. Currently ruled by a paladin named Lord Mando Reynn, Sapwick is under threat of destruction by the frost giant Jarl Gorhahn and his alliance of frost giants, gnolls, and undead. The uneasy truce that has existed for decades between Sapwick and the neighboring frost giants is about to end…Many years ago, a foul necromancer (whose name is lost to history) took up residence in an ancient ruin in the mountains near Sapwick. He sought to create an army of bone golems by stealing corpses from the tomb of a nearby frost giant tribe, but the leader of the frost giants, Barhahn, resisted. During a titanic battle atop the mountains, Barhahn slew the necromancer with his great axe, but suffered a grievous, rotting wound to his leg that soon claimed his life. One of Barhahn’s concubines later gave birth to a son, Gorhahn. She kept Gorhahn’s lineage a secret from the tribe to prevent him from being slain by usurpers to the throne.
After dying, the necromancer rose as a ghoul lord, wreaking havoc on the lands of men and giants for a time. The Ghoul Lord Necromancer also continued his work on creating frost giant bone golems, stealing the corpses of Barhahn and other frost giants from the tomb below the giant’s stronghold. A group of heroes from Sapwick, led by a paladin wielding the mighty greatsword Shining Vengeance, finally managed to trap the necromancer in his lair using a magic seal.
Years later, Gorhahn wrested control of his jarldom from the pretenders in a murderous attack, making it known to all frost giants that he was the son of Barhahn and true jarl of the tribe. Backed by his witch-wife, Farliya, Gorhahn led many successful raids against the lands of men, gaining more powerful as he stole magic items from those heroes and other adventurers he slew.
As the forces of good dwindled, the ranks of Gorhahn grew. A tribe of gnolls, led by a shaman of great skill, swore allegiance to Gorhahn in his campaign of terror (the shaman was attracted to Farliya’s dark worship practices, and began overseeing the temple in Gorhahn’s stronghold on her behalf). A neighboring tribe of frost giants, led by the brothers Sorturg and Burjorg, made a defensive alliance (mostly out of fear of Gorhahn) with Gorhahn against the lands of men, adding their kin to his army as well. Sorturg and Burjorg also made plans to call upon the ancient white dragon guarding their cavernous stronghold, Adolwyfamac, during the ensuing fight.
Lord Mando’s forces attempted to lay siege to Gorhahn’s stronghold, but were slain to the last man; many brave souls died that day, including almost all of their knights and clerics (Lord Mando himself was raised from the dead by one of the last remaining clerics). Retreating to his keep, Lord Mando sent out an urgent call for adventurers to help defend the city against Gorhahn and his army of frost giants and gnolls.
So far in the Campaign:
Adventurers just held off a devastating attack that took the lives of most of the Guard. Planning for the Counter attack Lord Mando is assigning the Adventurers to Scout the areas and do what they can to even the odds.
Okay so, people can still join in and Roleplay it as they are cityfolk wishing to help. I do hope we get more people it was incredible fun for me DMing it (Apologies to the players it is a DM system I am not used to).
We are roleplaying it as FR we have Novo leading the group mostly. The adventurers appeared after a Novo Portal Trip!
I cannot do it next Friday and possibly not next Saturday either. I will do my best, I really hope I can get this down for you all.
Also, if anyone has any other Modules they would like to do that is similar to this please let myself and Delanish know. We can keep this going on different grounds.

I would love to do it. But are you guys ok with newbies and try to help me out a bit? Heh..
-
Yeah as long as you know how to Roleplay
-
That I do. :)
