Bitches.
Who's getting this bad boy, namely on the PS3 so I can shoot your face off?
Allow it

Played the 360 version at my friend's house today and if you liked Modern Warfare 2 than it is almost a guaranteed that you like Black Ops. Treyarch has really made a come back from World at War.

Wait for patches.
Fallout: NV had ridiculous bugs, yet a lot of people enjoyed it (you, Forte).
I have hope.

What's laughable is the high caliber by which these people hold such titles as Call of Duty. I bought it for exactly what it is; a way to waste some time shooting people. If I want a great story, or mind-blowing graphics, I'm happily waiting for The Last Guardian (and the ICO and Shadow of the Collosus re-releases.) If I want variance and an intricate choice system I've got Fallout and Dragon-Age (and DA2 to wait for!)
I want to shoot things, and in my opinion Black Ops delivers that nicely. Is it worth a 90 on meta? Certainly not, but players are so critical of what they buy for the most mundane of reasons. It's a popular high-name franchise, it's not going to be mind-blowing; it is a cash-cow. Treyarch changed a lot of the system, they tried to add more to it than the same game modes and styles we've been playing for the past three years. Do I care if the graphics are "slightly lower" than modern warfare 2 (and really they're pretty much the same)? Not in the least, because they spent their time improving other elements of the game and trying to give us something new to play.
I do feel bad for the PC players who did get the short end of the stick, and there's no excuse for that. But after they get fixed, given that Treyarch takes the time to fix those issues, it'll be a solid release for the PC as well.
Long and short of it: It's Call of Duty with some new bells and whistles; that's all you're going to get.

Very nearly bought it but decided to get God of War collection and Demons Souls instead. I have too many fps games and tbh im starting to get a bit bored with them.
