I spoke with the Stonelands druid, Atok, who informed me that the Companions had done something terrible up there. He explained that, should we discover what really happened magically up there - beyond someone shooting the casting mage - he might see to assisting us with the rat infestation in the city. He wants an apology from the companions but I do not think that very likely.
When I mentioned this to Nix, of the Companions, she communicated through sneering that she had already explained everything to Officer Brown & Officer Farmerson.
May I have this report to take to Atok?

Dear and most highly esteemed, just, and honorable Priestess Mirai of Tyr,
Ms. Nix indeed briefly referred to the events at the volcano when I last talked to her. More specifically, she mentioned "berks shooting at a ritual", and that they only escaped a disaster because they had fast legs. However, as this topic came up, there was also this new potential recruit whom I believe has been working for you? A somewhat dubious-looking individual from the streets named "Mr. Randal", I believe. I asked him to handle the interview, as I had other business to attend to at the time. I would therefore like to recommend to you to ask him for this report instead.

Did Nix explain the purpose of the ritual to you?
If she did, the report will be provided to the druids to gain their material assistance and woods-lore regarding the were-rats. If it did not, I will need to follow this up.
