Cannot loot corpses?

I tried to yank the loot from a dead player who died on a quest to grab their gold to raise them.

Player tool says you can only use it on other players.

I can fix subdual based looting next time I get the module.

I will probly be able to fix corpse looting too but, it'll take a smidge more work. Someone scripted it to spawn the loot pack erm... inside the fugue so, I gotta get around that.
