[So . . . who are we, guys?]
-
Meh, time for something different than all the sappy, Screaming Vader-littered goodbye posts.
Let's be positive! Big smiley face
Huge lightning bolt hits him for he should never be happy.
Le sigh.
Aaaanyways. Like I said, who are we? In other words, who do you play on CoA? (Bwahaha, I rhymed!)
Me? Well, since I have the million faces I'll give you the first dozen.
I play (and played) the following:
Ami'mania S'ren'ty - Adorable elfy sorcoress
Allen Bloodsail - Scurvy pirate dog who said "Arr!" instead of "Yarr!"
Vorak Iron-Smasher - Big orc guy in black armor. 'Nuff said.
Vo'rak Zarbag - Big orc guy . . . that bathes and talks right! O_O
Valino Syndel - Crazy beatnick guy, fun to be around.
Sally - Creepy doll-maker and tailor
Gamli Axekicker - Rowdy dwarf who didn't last long
Valdur Sylver - Quiet moon-elf ranger married to a halfling
Amrose Deadmane - Husband, father of twins, and warrior
Vakal Black - Dread-Knight of Bane and the most uber character I ever played
Varrok Blackwell - Capt. of the Bhaliir Mercs and Hunter-Priest of Malar . . . current uberness character.
Dred Daggerhill (A.k.a. Victor) - A hilarious little halfling who just wants to be a hero instead of the villain he was.And the best for last, IMO . . .
Vircel "Black Writer" Blackwood - Who is he? My friends, this guy is ME! Yes, I made myself into an actual character! ^^ Happy go-lucky guy who's always getting himself into trouble but always seems to get the crowd going. Loveable guy, really.
Anwyays, now that you've seen most of the masks I wear, let's see your's!
–BlackWriter and his million faces
-
My major ones are in my sig, for those who would remember.
I doubt many people playing nowadays would remember my characters anyway.
-
I've played a cutpurse, a Malarite, and a moody Thayan sneak.
-
I play a forum walrus.
-
-
You realize that's not a walrus, right?
Also, that image is enormous. That's on the Teph, pre-Teph level of image enormousness.
Images that big make baby Gurb cry. Ok, toddler Gurb. They make toddler Gurb cry. They also break horizontal scroll, which makes Rollick cry.
-
iam call that beast
THE MIGHTY SARLACC!
-
I played the follwing in my time as a player, well the ones that mattered anyway(in this order):
Bellin Thundor - Cleric of Moradin and member of the House Of Death.
Thorlen Kren - Shar worshiping ex Thayan Knight to the lovely Senior Magus Vorn.
Private Tobias D'lake - A Tymora hating member of the City Militia, got transfered soon after being enrolled.
-
Sticking to v3:
Mervin Twil - Bard of small water (props if you get the "almost-ripoff"), mostly interested in watching from the side-line, be it a hero or a villain.
Kassedy Ward - Ex-guard and PD. Biggest balls in the militia, after Mara Krows ;)
Chavhan Vorn - Senior Magus at the Thayvian Enclave. Worships Tyr, upholds justice, and does his best to make Arabel a better place for all to stay. Current character.
-
Marcus Nightcrawler, Fezznick retainer, halfling. Had misunderstood the difference between vigilant and vigilante.
Got thrown out of Fezznick.
Was a member of team good for about 5 months, and his deeds included stealing a Balors underwear, had 23 assasination attempts on his life,
was slain by an assasin hired by a high ranking Zhentarim officer, body thrown over the Arabellan walls by a catapult, and wielder of the halfling Baneblade. Oh and beat up over 30 banites through a 7 month period.
Died by execution.Nathan Greenhill, cleric of Arvoreen.
Established well working groups of halfling paladins and warriors of Arvoreen, member of the house of dead for 5 minutes (record?) and was a pretty nasty bad ass battlepriest.
Was a leading figure in the halfling community for a good long while.Selene Forestwalker, elven ranger/cleric of Solonor.
Member of the elven council, worked hard to bring the murderers of 2 harpers to justice (Elven shrine slaughter).
Died by execution after being member of a vigilante group.Nayah Carpenter, wild elf ranger of Shaundakul, Thond Retainer.
Helped start the alliance against the Grey Circle, one of the few rangers to reach lvl 10 as a pure ranger.
Was one of the leading figures in the grey circle plot until she was killed by her nemesis Vulgar.
Her body was later animated and she became an npc undead commander of the undead grey circle forces.
Ran a huge intelligence gathering network during her time in house Thond, costing over 40.000 gold pieces through a 3 month period. -
Hehe, since we're all hopping on the bandwagon, these were my noteable contributions to the v3 player-vault:
James Mayfields (Level 7 Ranger) - Was one out of the original 5 City Militia Privates (along with Calvin Brown, Albert Steiner, Ragnin Laststand, and Zoe Winterblade) that started out v3 after the character wipe a couple years back. The dastardly farm boy remained a Private for a total of 9 RL months, and was never going to get promoted. He had a 'legal' animal companion dog named Sparky (scripted in by Vulcano) who followed him around on all his city patrols. He quit the force after the death of his partner in crime, Calvin Brown.
Lord Sabastian Milliar (Level 5 Wizard) - Was the head for a noble concept written by myself and the player of Calvin Brown after our guard characters ended. While retaining a face of good for the majority of time in power, he secretly ran a thieves guild, the Blackblade cult, owned his own estate, and still managed to abuse his powerhouse brother on a daily basis. He was eventually killed by his brother Rufus.
Brenden Marrison (Level 6 Rogue) - A Bhaliir Retainer who never really did much more than trash a few Half-Orcs, run a few fund-raisers, among other things. He killed himself one day after a misinterpreted rejection from his fellow retainers.
I'm currently playing a Bard by the name of Emery. Look out for him! I'm not going to post any spoilers though.

I just play my Thayan. My past characters shall remain a mystery. Sorry.

I just play my Thayan. My past characters shall remain a mystery. Sorry.
Hey Tiralin, long time no see!
-
I saw this and decided I HAD to post. Just 'cause.
My v3 contributions are as follows:
Talon Krusidiir - Paladin of Helm, and silly fellow with aims at serving as a Purple Dragon. Might've had a shot, too, if his player hadn't convinced himself his Paladin would have no shot what-so-ever.
Lieutenant Zyl D'Enitor - Warrior of Helm. Some of his personality traits were close to Talon's, but for the most part he became his own entity. He was extremely paranoid, and sometimes that got him in trouble. He'd almost always hear a War Wizard pass invisibly, and aim an arrow. He never fired, though… phew.
Veteran of the Zhentarim War, Member of the Three Stooges (Miles, Zyl and Karl!), survivor of the rebellion and inquisition, and avid hunter of Cata Unders AKA Raven; Zyl had a lot of experience under his belt. Granted the rank of Lieutenant rather quickly, (I still think it was because he banished Marcus Nightcrawler...) he surprised his superiour officer, Mara Krows, constantly. He would often-times challenge her authority, usually to a detrimental end.
Eventually the two became very close friends: almost like siblings, however, and the good fight of Law v. Chaos ensued.
He retired honourably and lives a peaceful life in a small house in Eveningstar.
Senior Magus Aznar Lauzoril - Red Wizard of Thay. Others claim him to having been one of the finer Red Wizards to have graced the Enclave walls. I say otherwise. Aznar's existance was full of constant turmoil, and some of my achievements were just dumb luck.
Within his first week in Arabel, Aznar was on trial for Murder. He had over-seen a duel in the Mage's Guild Cellar, of which the end result of the duel was to be death. He was not too fond of the loser, and when the loser lost, and the winner refused to kill as per the guidelines set, Aznar did.
He was arrested, and served trial, but was saved by the return of the loser, who said that Aznar was acting in the interests of the duel, and that he was to be released. And so Aznar was, and was also given his infamous "Red Lion" moniker.
After that, things started looking better. Until he found a rival in Peron Aziz. I've not seen such a rivalry happen since then between any two Red Wizards. These two constantly attempted to undermine, swindle, manipulate and actively destroy each other. Eventually, they came to duel for the position of Senior Magus. Aznar lost, and he would not forgive himself for it. After the duel, Aziz broke their verbal agreement against looting, and took two of Aznar's prized rings. One was irreplaceable, and the other had to be returned on principle alone. Aziz made the demand of 5,000 lions, which Aznar would not agree to. Instead, he went to the underground, where he had a number of friends he had gained over the past weeks. He paid 3,000 coins for Aziz's life.
Aznar challenged for Senior Magus and lost once more, this time to a rather putzy Senior Magus. A second duel, however, resulted in an unscathed Aznar standing over a pile of smoldering ash on the ground. Senior Magus Lauzoril continued his active plotting against Aziz, who had been successfully assassinated during a sale of an immensely expensive ring. Aznar had his own two rings safely returned, and was never even so much as accused of the act.
Aziz shortly thereafter retired as a Red Wizard.
Magus Odessenym was a conniving sort, fenagling a trading contract with a Senior Magus and his apprentice in Thaymount. Aznar was able to cut in on the deal as well, and went with Odessenym to collect the caravan arriving with the goods. They were interrupted, however, being told that the goods were stolen. After having proved they weren't, the two Magi returned to the Enclave and prepared an auction.
They sold the goods for a great sum of coin. To their dismay, however, the goods WERE stolen. Aznar was left to investigate on his own, mostly to save his own hide. He discovered it all an intricate plot of the Apprentice in Thaymount to overthrow his own master. Evidence was discovered that placed all that, and Aznar and Odessenym's names were cleared. Aznar came out on top with a great deal of coin from the product sales, however, and used that to buy himself a far more secure place in the Enclave.
He then decided to writhe his tendrils a little into the political scene of Arabel. Thond was a great thorn in his side, and despite having made substantial diplomatic resolutions with the House, he still felt them a threat to his business. His loyal knight had successfully stolen house armour for Thond, and it was Aznar's intent to cause a political war between all of the houses. A Retainer from Bhaliir was his accomplice in the matter, but was in actuality a spy.
If Aznar had not died, and his player retire as a Red Wizard, his plan would have been foiled due to blind trust.
Scout Alyssa Serelli - Alyssa's career is fairly short. She came to Arabel from Suzail seeking to join the Purple Dragon Garrison there. She contributed a great deal in the fight against the Lurker (Not as much as a lot of others, but close!) and gained her rank in the Arabel Militia as a private during that venture.
Shortly after the Lurker incident, she returned to Suzail for a time. There she joined the scouts and returned to Arabel under orders (Yeah, this is a hazy part >_>). Scout Serelli did a little more work before she was kidnapped by the Blackblade family, and her life used as a sacrifice to ressurrect Xavier Blackblade.
Her father was not seen at her funeral in Suzail, though her grave always has fresh roses lain upon it.
Luckbring Skyler Celonias - Was just a side character, and though I tried to make a name for him, it really didn't go very far.
And who could forget:
STRAY COW! - This Barbaric Bovine randomly found himself on random adventures with Hungry Dog and Vicious Chicken. Also a short-lived career, as having Gurb in the deity field is not a wise choice.
