I was enjoying the festivities in the Faceless tavern, and several of your officers entered demanding that patrons save the queen from an impending portal collapse and that the queen's life depended on it.

I am aware of human customs for joking and jesting in social events, but I found this very distasteful considering the rumours circulating of her condition. I am sure I speak for the elven community in that I hope the officers in question are reprimanded for such japery, and that I do not need to escalate this complaint to the family that currently lays claim to the basin.
