During an exploratory walk down into the area known as the 'Abyss', in a cave system southwest of Eveningstar, a patrol I was a part of had been soundly defeated by a large number of dire spiders and a powerful Priestess of the Spider Queen.

Fyevarra Dyernini was captured and marked as 'One of Eight'.

She will experience occasional bouts of 'addlement' (rough translation from elven) during which time she will not be able to distinguish friend from foe.
When this priestess--we suspect the high priestess--manages to mark 7 more individuals, each individual will be combined into a monstrosity under her control.
The 'Elven Council' has agreed to look into this with us.
