Ercole seem to think he has proof something major on the Divine Silence and that someone is trying to make it permanent. He is also seems edgy about the Precept being there.
It seems polite to let him speak, but I advise we have a strong security presence.

I called the mettng and made it clear all were under parley and violence was forbidden. Several persons arrived include Jim of Tymora, Jendayi of the Wildwalkers and latter Sir Pierre, Trueblood Treth and Jace of Mosemare.
Ercole presented two items designed to suppress magic and explained they had been given to him by a former member of the Precept before said person went to ground. He then added said person had claimed the Precept were trying to create a device to suppress every none sorcerers spellcaster ability to cast in the region.
While this is a claim by a man hardly known for his honor or honesty, such a device is a extreme threat to the chuch if real. I have thus started talk in the 12 about a full investigation and will keep the order updated if progress or none progress is made.
I will also have the items investigated as a matter of urgence regardless.

There was a fight between Crown and Lower House in the slums. To gather a accurate summery of events and clear up things I summoned Izereth of the Precepts and Jace of House Mossmare to explain things in the Palace.
Izereth summoned me by sending to the Precepts and as I entered Sir Pierre and Treth started shouting treason and armed ravens moved to try and block the door. Being alone and outnumbered I quickly withdrew to Eveningstar to avoid what looked like an assanation attempt.
I feel this lend some weight to Ercole's machine being real, especialy since they are trying to block the machines investigation.
Shall we give them 24 hours to straighten things out before allying with the other churches to demand a investigation?
