Peer Review: Bryce Ampharen
-
For his repeated attempts to cause the weakening of the bounds between the Kingdom of Arabel and The Bishopric of Eveningstar
For his personal vendetta against the Church of Lathander and Councilor Jadzia Sunguard.
For his overreach in matters of governance and attempts to violate rights of treaty and fealty in the Bishopric of Eveningstar
It is this councilor's opinion that a new member from the Greywatch should be immediately requested as Councilor Ampharen is only doing harm to the land with self serving actions and malicious intent.

It seems more that you're objecting to the Greywatch's attempts to stick their nose in Eveningstar's business. Given how Bryce has been told repeatedly that he should stop doing this, by the clerks in the Palace and by Jadzia, I doubt this would stop just because he was removed from this Council.
So far as this being a deliberate attempt to damage the relationship between the Bishopric and the City, I doubt this is true either. However I agree that their overreach does far more harm than good. Again, I doubt this would change, even if Bryce were removed from this Council. Especially given how adamant Jadzia is about refusing not only them, but the Precept and anyone else who speaks out against her in or around Eveningstar.
One need only look how she reacted when the suggestion to patrol the High Road was made.More to the point it seems you disagree with the Greywatch's methods and those who are drawn to it. I completely agree that the Greywatch has been allowed more than they should be, but changing whoever sits on the Council for them doesn't help the issue you seem to want to address. Unless you yourself are suggesting that you have something personally against Bryce.

Councilors,
THIS -ENDS- NOW. I thought I was a being of chaos, but this is simply too mad, even for my delicate tastes.
Bryce, stop seeking strife and chaos, where there is none. If you can fight besides the Dawnlord on the battlefield, you can trust her enough in this council.
Jadzia, you see every attempt to assist, as an attempt to interfere. None here have any interest in Eveningstar, except to see its people happy, safe and protected. The Greywatch finds your extreme hostility to questions, and your disregard for the spirit of this council, to find common ground, as an act of aggression.
So, I put my foot down. You both stop. Goes for you as well, Squire. I understand your situation, Bryce is clearly in the wrong here. But rather than remove him, let us give Bryce a chance to redeem himself, by showing he can do better. That would in turn show we are better, rather than being that which he accuses you of.
Bryce is a bloodhound, given scent because of your secrecy. If you do not wish our assistance in any matter, that is fair. But then why sit on the Council? Close off your boarders, and live isolated.
You are all better than this. The Precept speaks truth. This will not end with the removal of Bryce. But it will end. I know you lot of Eveningstar to be good, decent people. I have seen compassion in bulk full out there. You are better than acting like hen in a hen house.

I see nothing changes.

Lathander's blessings apon you all you need it.
Dawnlord Jadzia Sunguard -
I shall seek you out this evening, Dawnlord.

I am in no other faction save the Council, Calatha. I appreciate that we can agree, however.

This response has been noted.
I will leave the matter of bringing Councilor Bryce to heel to this body then as you have stated he is clearly int the wrong. Eveningstar does not seek isolation nor will we allow any effort to erode the terms of the relationship between the Kingdom of Arabel and Bishopric of Eveningstar to go unchallenged by this body or any other.
Should the Councilor Bryce immediately cease and desist his "bloodhunt" into our affairs this matter can be dropped. Should you wish to explain to their Majesties why again a member of this council cannot accept the delicate and needed treaty between them and his grace, then proceed.
Demands will never be heeded. Requests will be given consideration and those that offer the hand of respect and friendship will find a willing one extended in return.

And you Councilor Grurec,
I shall seek you out, and we shall have ale. I imagine we have much to discuss. If nothing else, then something to laugh at.

The Precept Arcanum has already developed a working relationship with Eveningstar, we are allowed passage, the townsfolk have the opportunity to join our family, and children born of unfortunate stars encouraged toward our order. If the so called “Freaks” can be diplomatic and accomplish treaties. Why is Bryce not held to similar standards, he is an official, not a child.
It’s time he grew up and understood actions have consequence.
