Vote: Removal of Dex for lack of impartiality
-
With the announcement of Dex converting to Lathander due to his feelings for Jazdia he cannot be relied upon to be impartial. As this practically gives the order 2 votes on the council I call for his removal from the council or his voting rights revoked.

Has he officially joined the House of the Morning's Order of Aster? If not, then he is another of the many teeming million followers of Lathander who stare at the sun for to long.
If he is, then he is a sun-baked addled fanatic and really, who wants more of those around?

Is this really appropriate language for a Clerk of the Twelve Council?
Clerk Johnson

Yes, the same way it's appropriate I showed your wife my Johnson, Johnson.

I fail to see what impartiality has to do with a seat on the Council, to be frank. It's from our biases and viewpoints that the Council's will is made, and through our actions that it's done. If you're concerned about being outvoted on issues such as this then perhaps you should consider your relationships with the other Councillors and their stance on such issues.
To speak on the very technical side; so far as I understand, even if Dextar is a convert to Lathander, he is not a Squire for the House of the Morning, and therefor does not violate any bylaw or tradition of the Council. Which the clerks have so helpfully scribed in the margins. As he such he doesn't represent the House of the Morning; that falls to Jadzia.

The majority has voted for his removal, the Councilor's access has been revoked.
