I nominate Selifrey Laelithar as a candidate for consideration. She is a talented diplomat, and has shown bravery and stood up for the cause of Arabel on several occasions. After discussing this for a day, I will open a vote.

We agree. She had stood for the Redwoods and battled a White Horde at our side since her arrival. She has also the interest of a Hullack to heart.

I don't wish to cast dispersions upon the good will of the Emissary or her work against the White Horde, and a growing partnership I would love to foster in pursuit of that goal, but has it been thoroughly considered that she is a foreign agent?

Her first, last and only responsibility should be to The People, not necessarily Arabel's People. The same could be said for the Order of Aster and their religion and dogma, but they still bore a general sense of human perspective and loyalty to the (short lived) concerns of men.

I am in no way casting rumors or doubts upon her, frankly I do not know enough about her to be comfortable voting in the first place, but she remains something of an unknown quantity and quality.

A Scarlet Strategist is not a foreigner herself? Yet we have chosen her as our Battle commander.
We are the Children of the Redwoods. A Forest is our priority. Yet we are on a council as well as representatives of the Oath. Who's priority is the land and nature above all else.

We are here as council to the First Peer. The major organizations of a city, here being House Misrim and House Vaylan, get two representatives. Any other organizations or independent individuals can get one person. If a council approves of course.

It is sometime good to have a different view of things, to see a whole picture as well.

And if it is she cannot council a First Peer properly, or serve this council, then she is removed. As any would.
