The boss has a ton of HP, and takes a good while to chunk down, so could use less. Even with a 2hander it still took some time.

I'd also recommend just adding more ember beetles spawning about in areas. Since it got reworked, those tiny, juicy little morsels kinda got removed and the quest is fairly empty and boring to run through
