Hi fellow CoAers
So we've had some feedback that opening up the quests to be more inclusive for the many level ranges and more soloable content would be welcome. We've discussed it and will be slowly making this a reality. Our goal is to have all the quests be available for lvl 6-14 and to make many of the current 6-9 quests soloable. Both will present challenges so we ask for patience.
Some things to be aware of:
- While we will be opening the quest up to all levels, there are still going to be "Preferred/Recommended Levels"
- That means that if you are above the recommended level you will not be getting xp. Sorry, no getting to level 14 on Bats.
- The quests should still give gold and rewards out without change.
- We will be slowly adjusting the loot spawns to account for the new quest ranges and accessibility.
- Just because a quest can be solo'd does not mean it should be or always can successfully be.
- This will be a work in progress and may lead to unbalanced initial quests so death is a possibility. I will do my best to run an OOC test before but mistakes re: MIsclicks always are a risk.
- For this to be successful, we need specific, and constructive feedback/suggestions to tweak as we go. If something is too difficult or easy, please outline in detail and take the time to recommend some changes.

In response to some feedback regarding the questing balance and difficulty levels, please read below.
The only reason the 6-9 quests are open to the higher levels is for inclusion. This is an imperfect solution to an unsolvable problem of accommodating multiple play styles, skill levels, and population fluxes.
There are two tiers of quests.
- 6-9 with a party size 1-8 so any that are soloable are not recommended for levels 10-14
- These quests are open to higher levels for inclusion only
- The understanding that going on these quest outside the recommended level 6-9 will make these starting quests extremely difficult and the onus is on the higher level to carry the others.
- 6-14 with party size of 2-8 that are not soloable and not recommended for levels 6-9.
- The inclusion of lower levels (6-9) is a courtesy for inclusion.
- The onus is on the higher levels to carry those below the recommended level as these quests may/will scale to very dangerous for the lower levels.
While there is definitely a challenge with balance for many quests, that is the trade off for inclusion.

In response to some feedback we will be adding another tier group and limiting accessibility to some quests due to balance challenges.
- Level 6-9
- Level 8-12
- Level 10-13
- There are some quests that are designated as Solo only and most if not all the remaining 6-9 quests will be party 1-8 so can be solo'd depending on build and courage etc.
- The 8-12 quests and 10-13 quests will be 2-8 for uniformity. Encounters are being adjusted accordingly but be patient.
- Loot/Treasure/Custom Scripted Rewards are going to take time to deal with but eventually....
We will be removing the ability for higher levels to go on the "start quests" etc. Mostly for balance since we've all seen what NwN is capable of when there is a massive level range. The addition of a middle quest range should accomplish our goal of inclusion as most players can quickly get to the level 8-12 range and usually have something to do with another player.
