Being Inclusive and Arabel

Well, I'm sorry you think that way. Must be lonely soloing all the quests.
Anyway, the reason people don't feel included is because they aren't. It's so painfully obvious when someone brings you along simply to fulfill the minimum party number to do something.
The unessesary pointless conflict that arises doesn't help matters eithe.

Hey guys,
The point of this thread was not to start a flame war. It's meant for a civil discussion, and I hope we return to that or I'll request the thread gets locked.
If people feel there is an issue that needs to be raised regarding the topic, do so. But if you can't stay civil and instead degrade yourself to insults and banter, we won't get anywhere :(
Much love, happy easter!

make a character that doesn't shy away from violence, doesn't play well with others and picks fights by being a douchebag
That sounds like a cool character. I'd like to meet more PCs like that, that are antagonistic and make people want to band together against them. Those are the real heroes!

I think the main issue is awareness of factions which really determine the success of your experience and how included you are. Want to be included? Join a group, preferably in your own timezone. Run a group? Recruit more players, dont sit on your priveleges, seek individuals who will fight for you.
Some players are much better than this than others. The DMs cant cater for every player.

I didn't read the sixt pages of this, but here's my personal view on the original topic.
Personally, I prefer groups of three, or AT MOST four, to do most events.
I have logged out before large scale event like wars and such (even though my character would absolutely get involved in this as it's a part of him), because I can't stand to see 6-8 PC spamming my chat window. It gives me headaches.
Also, I like taking it slow. I don't like when somes are always running forward, doing things ahead of the rest of the group. I prefer to go slow and learn who everyone is, or learn more about those characters you already know.
I do not willingly set aside people because I think it's rude, but I sure as hell don't like it when there's more people than needed.
For the plots, I prefer when it's shared when it should be. To keep it real.
