Red Roads?

I dont think it has to do with that, it was an accident I guess. It happened to Sparrow when I got added. Sure a DM will fix it if you ask them

@TRASH:
people randomly being removed from a group sounds like a good way to kill a faction
Comments like this are needlessly negative and will stop.

It takes some following up. I think the group looks good. Could provide a lot of fun. Im sure whatever halfling I play after Elefson bites it will.approach them.
-
Group is now very much alive. Ish. Join to make it more so.
-
Yes, definitely. Even from an outsider's perspective, I can tell the Red Roads are getting spicy now. Jump on it!

There were three or four different merc companies all operating separately at one stage. That's alot of missed opportunity for them to all band together into a single group and make something awesome together. The Red Roads didn't really strike me as anything special, just another merc company like the many others that pop up every few weeks.
Look at the Zhentarim or Fire Knives. A distinct image, code and style. We rarely see that from alot of merc companies lately.

I joined the prelude to play in a casual factions with buddies in uniform.
What it turned out to be was a competition that punished PCs for not playing alot, and rewarded only the loudest members.The two times that I tried to negotiate for a contract I instantly got swarmed by my allies. They saw what I was doing and wanted to steal my contacts by shouting over me.
In my opinion the ultra competetive nature of the faction is what made it unpopular. It's frustrating when all of your allies are also your enemy from the start.I don't know what the faction is like now, but that was my experience with it.
-
Steal your contracts? Huh?
-
Sure that might have been an issue then and it definatly depends on the active PC's, but currently it isnt like that. Infact I have been offering newer members take on some of the contracts I have been getting to help them out.
