Star Pacts and forbidden lore:
-
As having played a Star Cultist, I can say that it does feel cheap and metagamey when people who know the pacts have something happen and call it out IC, it feels like well it takes away the mystery of the character. However that said it is up to the player who owns a star pact to properly rp it but also in certain situations it is hard to properly RP it, if you had a concern then why not just PM the player? That would save so much confusion, ask them what happened back there.

yeah. I try not to PM players. I don't want them to think I am telling them how to play. I just think I see a lot of odd behavior. A lord walks into the tower, no one gives any shits. Lore is metagamed all to heck. I know it is an unavoidable issue, bit that doesnt mean everyone has to do it! I hope it doesn't sound like I'm ordering anyone to do anything. because I can't, even if I wanted to. I just think that maybe next time you are like "I saw a file somewhere at that one time" or "I played a character that knows X, so it must be common knowledge now" just take a step back and think about what your character -actually- knows.

There are books in game that tell you some things about, some things. You can take them as fact, or as stories, or as scholars attempts to understand things, or call them utter rubbish. Up to you.
When you get off the caravan though, you know jack.
