Muse is in the Hospital
-
It was the two ultra sound things they did, and just showed visuals of my innards. I didn't have the stomach to watch it so not really sure. Think they had pictures of the cat scan too.
-
Wishing you the best and sending prayers- Can't be sure what's wrong, and I hope it's nothing too serious, but I do hope the pain subsides.
-
Come to canada muse, free health insurance, then get better and we can hang out!

yus. Come up north! Winter is not that bad, really!
-
Hehe, I love the snow anyway, wouldn't be an issue. ATM I'm just beating my head on a wall until I can get moved up to Columbus. (Which is happening as we speak as well. Stoopid body not being up to date on my life plans, gawds damnit.)
-
Just read all this. Hope everything turns out for the best. And yes, I wish the U.S. had single payer healthcare.
-
Wishing you all the best, Shea. Hope everything turns out alright.

Just an update, had my first obgyn apt yesterday. They did a biopsy, more blood work, scheduled another CT. (Holy shit why do they not give you pain meds for biopsy's? those damn things hurt like holy hell!) Anyhow, the doc said she wouldn't be comfortable treating me and thought it best to send me to the oncologist of the gyn variety. (That's the people that specialize in cancer.) She's not sure if it is cancer or not, but she said she'd rather not put me through hell once then have to have another doctor do it all over again.
So that's where I'm at, atm. My next appointment is May 14, so I'll keep everyone updated.

Take care please. Praying for you.

I hope everything goes well; you are one of the staple players of CoA.

Any updates?
-
Muse is sure hard tough stuff. I'm not worried. Either way, get better soon, lass!
-
Had a ct scan yesterday. Oncology apt is today. Will update accordingly after it. <3 all you guys!
-
Welp. Update for today.
I'm scheduled for surgery on the 29th of this month. I'm guessing it's moderately serious since the doc said his schedule was booked through June but he made a spot for me in 2 weeks.
The softball size "cyst" is now a football sized "mass" aka tumor. They're removing half my girl bits - my right ovary and filopian (however it's spelled) tube. They're going to try to save the left ovary, but the surgeon isn't sure if he can until he gets in there. He's uncertain if it is cancer or not, and won't be able to tell until the things are actually removed.
-
If it gives you any hope, my godmother had such an operation, although her case was probably more severe as they removed everything. It was not cancerous, thankfully. She is very healthy now. So, you'll get back to very healthy soon as well :D
