In Io-Rach, goblins target invisible characters with ranged weapons. Did a test running invisible in their midst quite a long way from the actual fighting.

There is a bug with Monsters who fight ranged. They are not able to switch to melee mod, in return they move to corners and do not engage in fight. Seen this predominantly in scripted quests.
Example would be the Ogres in the Alena's sword quest, these use Throwing axe when you are in range and then should switch to melee when you get close but for some reason, some of them will just head to corner and do nothing. Also applies for the Drow construct in the beneath the guildhall quest. Supposed to use crossbow and then get melee when in close range, but sometimes it just moves to the corner and does nothing.
Also seen this pattern with Mages in the kidnapped kid quest, some just use invisibility and just run away doing nothing, dont know if this is related to any ranged firing they are supposed to do
