A Polite Request (It Isn't Really a Request)
-
Earlier, some players may have had their adventuring, questing, and roleplaying interrupted by the following message:
[coanuclearwinter] Nuclear Winter: [Shout] //Hello, allow me to interrupt your day of RPing with a very short announcement.
[coanuclearwinter] Nuclear Winter: [Shout] //The DM team is open to criticism and suggestions. If there are any, you may feel free to approach us on irc at any given time. If we do not respond immediately, it is not because we are ignoring you, but because we are preoccupied.
[coanuclearwinter] Nuclear Winter: [Shout] //Going behind the DM team's back and prodding players for their opinions on certain server policies is not only terribly counter-productive, but also very annoying from a DM's point of view.
[coanuclearwinter] Nuclear Winter: [Shout] //Please refrain from doing so, and instead simply grow some balls and speak to the DMs in person. I promise we won't bite your head off.
[coanuclearwinter] Nuclear Winter: [Shout] //I apologize for the interruption, I promise to make up for it with plots this week.
[coanuclearwinter] Nuclear Winter: [Shout] //Server returns to normal… now.The behavior that is mentioned above is considered highly toxic. I am posting this on the forums to make sure people understand that constructive criticism that is delivered politely is welcomed.
