Khalil,
As my herald you are to liaise with the House of Ash on my behalf.
Karim has, on several occasions now, sent creatures of shadow to assassinate me and my servants, these creatures are of the undead and the House of Ash is a potential source of aid to try and uncover some means for us to tilt the scale in our favour.
I have a small sample of the essence gathered after one such attempt if it will aid their progress.
