File: Blood and Bone Tribe and Eveningstar
-
From what I gather the following information of the Blood and Bone tribe.
Tree of destiny - the halforcs worship it
Infernalism - unclear they have made a pact, though sightings of devils and/or demons
Amberfield - destroyed a town part of the holy war?
Blade Warriors - claim abyssal connection with tree
Claims land of Goldfeather?
They know something about Eveningstar? Why does the Palace have a bounty?
Need to investigate tree. Likely go alone

I spoke to the Blood and Bone Tribe. My report /to whichever DM it is/...
I investigated an arson incident at the Oldflower estate perpetrated by the Illuminated Blade, and I was promised the issue was merely a misunderstanding. Dominic Swift was present, and a robbery took place. There he said that the Blood and Bone Tribe were involved in infernalism.
I requested Dominic come and explain what he knows of the Blood and Bone Tribe. Long story short, it took the threat of a two hundred and fifty gold fine to get the information.
he and the Illuminated Blade see the Blood and Bone tribe as infernalists since they worship a corrupted tree. Likewise, there were reporting sightings of devils or demons on roads near the Hillmarch mines. Eye witnesses suggest they did not attempt to fight the angel as claimed and they participated in a massacre at Amberfield.
The Blood and Bones claim they are not infernalists and just happen to claim a cave where a bunch of infernal entities reside. For the crimes that the Illuminated Blade reported, the tribe claim to have been given contracts by the Church of Cyric. They seek to kill Dominic Swift in retribution for him setting a forest on fire during this holy war, claim territories as part for their tribe, and that the Illuminated Blade aided Florent in releasing the angel.
I offered them barley and livestock to leave us all alone, and they refused.
Blood and Bone Tribe maintain they saw the Illuminated Blade provide material assistance to House Florent.

I believe a woman called Elsa has information relating to the Illuminated Blades involvement in the salt angel.

@silversquirrel said in A letter to Mr. Beltran Blackgrain of the Crownguard:
Dear Mr. Blackgrain,
I have never seen a more courageous defender of the Crown, and I highly doubt I ever will. I must admit I do not think I would have the nerve to even think about trying such a thing again - but having slain these Frost Giants with you fills me with more than a little speck of admiration and respect.
In the aftermath, I have been called for via sending by one of your colleagues, one Mr. Blackstone. I trust you know him well? Please relay my apologies to him that I have not yet been able to comply with his request for a conversation about the infamous villain, Ms. Sabriel the Mad.
I am afraid I have little to no pertinent information concerning this vile individual. I briefly saw her a few times, but hardly ever exchanged more than a few words. The longest time I may have actually spent in a room with her was when she was spouting her poison at the so-called Lathanderite "War Council", calling for the priest Belon to "open his coffers". I think she wanted gold, and magical trinkets, and unlimited quantities of "glory". She sounded like an idiot then - but I suppose no one could really have guessed just how mad she must have been already at that time. She hid it well, I think, although I barely knew her.
Now, I have heard, like everyone else in the kingdom, that the Chapter Master Fyevarra Dyernini, Ethran of Rashemen, and Leader of the Illuminated Blade once called her a friend. She has also stated that she has denounced her, and why. I believe these statements to be truthful but I have not been privy to whatever, if anything, Ms. Sabriel the Mad and the Chapter Master might have discussed behind closed doors. From what I heard, Ms. Sabriel the Mad was also a Bard of some ability; highly skilled with crafting her words to her optimal advantage. She will just have told the Chapter Master, and whomever else she might have been speaking with, whatever lies she thought would benefit her vile and selfish aims.
I do not know who her associates might have been, or if she even had any. Or.. maybe that is not entirely correct. I think she consorted with Mr. Marchetti of the Church of Cyric. I believe there were a few sendings to that effect, and I once heard her say she wanted to "speak" with him.
Best regards,
Elsa Brown
