As a taster
I present you the theory behind the creation of the gorgon curse alchemical mixture that was used to ultimately destroy Volmar
After defeating Volmar on the walls of Tilverton and witnessing him turn into a blob of blood and bone that shuffled away and despite best efforts escaped, I decided a way to petrifty the mass was needed. Creatures that could petrify others such as Gorgons and those with a strong connection to the land such as Earth Drakes were hunted and an alchemical conction was made using a cup with a strong connection to the element of earth
With the aid of alchemists and mages the earth drake scale was weakened by acid due its connection to earth and ground down, the Gorgon blood was heated and thickened with honey and the dust of a diamond and stoneskin cast into it, Then later on a curse was placed into it as some theorise the petrification breath of a gorgon and gaze of a medusa is a curse.
The concotion worked against Volmar after his defeat in the Shield Marches
