Investigation: Infernalism around Tilverton

Over the past few days there has been people go missing from Tilverton and talk of rituals
Earlier today there was commotion around Tilverton and corrupted beings came out of the wondergrange, Myself, Adelaide, Qu'oi and Valarious went in and found a mage seemingly leading them.
I slew her and it was discovered she was a husk controlled by something else.
Unfortunately Val destroyed the ritual site by stamping on it before Adelaide could examine it indepth

Unfortunately with the ritual site being damaged I don't think there are further leads at this time

Planar war came to Tilverton today.
Myself, Siona, Adelaide, Donie and Treth defended the town as best we could from demons and devils until we heard combat on the walls
Myself and Adelaide went to see and found Volmar the Abyssal cultist there and as he refused to surrender I engaged him in combat whilst telling Polly the Precepts coward to fetch aid against his magic.
After a gruelling battle I struck a deathblow on Volmar but he turned into ooze and though he was chased slipped through the locked gates
He will be hunted down

Siona reports that whilst myself and Adelaide were fighting Volmar Donie and Treth were empowering the infernal circle on the devils side to try and force the demons away and this is why the sky turned red.
Valarious reports that Treth claims he partly fused with a fiend in the battle.
This may be why he is taller.
All in all it seems Donie may have performed infernal acts whilst Treth almost certainly did

Polly also may have seen something whilst moving between the battlements to the battle to fetch aid.
It is worth asking her if she did
At the least we can put in a good word for her with Eveningstar

It should also be noted that during the battle Treth and Donie spoke of empowering one of the circles and stated Devils may be more reasonable than demons.
I advised against it but it seems from reports that they chose to do this anyway whilst myself and Adelaide fought Volmar

Polly has confirmed what Valarious has told us.
She is not certain but believes it may have been a bone fiend that Treth fused with as one was present during the battle when she was trying to get the mages to come to the battlements and assist against Volmar

I have witnessed Treth use this "dark flame" myself and he can summon fiends.
He claims he has permission from the crown to summon fiends as long as it is not within the city.
Still I find this repugnant.
I believe we have enough to charge him with infernalism
