Investigation: Deadwell

As Deadwell is a threat to the people of Bospir with the dead that keep rising I believe it prudent to find out what causes the curse.
My investigations lead me to believe an altar at the heart may fuel it as the path to it is thick with negative energy.
Priests and mages will be needed to find a way to weaken the altars influence which may lessen the curse

Another possible source is the glowing skullrose behind the door that needs a skullrose to enter.
Many undead were gathered around the pedastal it was fixed in and Javelin was greatly wounded by it when he tried to remove the rose from it.
It is rumoured that skullroses ward against goodly dietys so cleansing this may weaken the curse somewhat.

The locals in deadwell insist that the reason the undead keep appearing in the crypts is that adventurers keeping going in and disturbing the rest of the dead.
The undead literally do not wander past a certain threshhold from the graveyard which may lend credence to the theory.
I personally suspect that the undead are the byproduct of a certain wizard's experiment- but the evidence for such is non-existent.
