The Chaos Phage
A strange magical infestation that was bestowed upon two subjects so far. It appears to use it's more harmful symptoms to force the host to drink potions, the restorative nature of the droughts than converted into energy to create a rather strange mutation of Slaad. The mutation incubates within the boils upon the subject until such time they have grown to enough strength to burst free of the hosts abdominal cavity.
I have found that the infection may be isolated by ritual by infusing the ward with Lawful energies, however to separation from magical sources aggravates the spawn within the host, I would recommend keeping a secondary non-organic source of magic nearby so that the magical radiation from the object gives the tadpole a target outside the hosts own body.
I have found a tome with references to this phenomena that I shall leave as a reference here.
"Condition referred to as chaos phage, in a horrific, maddening process similar to those used by parasites or viruses. Red slaadi implanted eggs beneath their victim's skin which would devour the host's insides from within before emerging" -

Subject one: Arn Targon
Came to me with complaints of a persistent cough, rapid boil growth and abdominal pain. While inspecting the subject for a mundane infection, It came to my attention that the boils carried a magical signature that correlated with Conjuration with necrotic energies. The boils while large, did not leak fluids or bleed as one would expect from mundane sources. The source of the signature was inconclusive at the time, but the effect does not appear to be transmittable by classical definition. Subject later tore open his own boils and died there after during a ritual, the energies of the ritual had accelerated the growth of the boils.
Subject two: Druid Lorenza
A faithful of Talona, Lorenza appeared to be suffering from the same magical signature and symptoms. A dependence on potions reinforced by pain if she goes long periods without imbibing. With a more clear understanding of the task, I set about recruiting Sunite Sorceress Veronika Palelight in aiding me with a more invasive investigation of the "Curse". Isolating the subject from outside influences and magic I went about delving my energies within the boils to search out the source of this infection. Finding that while I was able to remove the Tadpole, I was not able to safely cleanse her of the source of the infection without performing a more powerful ritual. However it has offered her a level of relief and time to further this goal.
