It galls me how much ink has been spilled over this when a few minutes of discussion and a coordinated plan of action would have identified the concerns, weighed the outcomes and acted uniformly. I understand that an adventuring life is chaotic and random, but we are asked to represent the city's spirit internally and externally; the last council failed to these same foibles if I understand right, and, to my knowledge, they did not have the crushing weight of the White Horde on their shoulders.
We must act in some semblance of unity and be the moral good, to maintain that responsibility we must also balance the desires of our own faiths and personalities against these greater concerns. I implore you, speak before acting, think before speaking, and do not be afraid to raise questions (within reason) that may seem trivial.
It's a simple matter of someone doing what they felt was, no right or wrong to my mind, but the consequences of our behaviors are a loss of faith and face, for that I have to vote for internal censure.
