    Ancient Dire Bear doesn't drop a pelt

      Valkyrie's post about dire badgers reminded me that ancient dire bears haven't dropped any pelts for me. Meat drops just fine.

        with the dire badger I just gave them a basic badger pelt
        with dire bear I would have to make a new pelt and add dire bears to the CNR database stuff
        we'll say it's "on the list" but I'm not sure when I'll add it since dire bear pelts are not used for anything

          Ohh, sorry. I saw Dire Bear leathers in the crafting tables and assumed they were used.

            uh... oops? that means I need to replace the dire bears in CARES with the correct dire bears that actually do drop pelts! D:

                Ok now I see. DIRE BEARS are CNR and drop pelts.
                ANCIENT DIRE BEARS are CoA and do not drop pelts by default. Putting pelts in their inventory like I did for dire badgers.
