Roleplay Core System: Blackwind Project
Hello, CoA players! Perhaps some of you remember me as the player of Sadhilan/Pearl, though it has been some time.
I'd like to share with you a project we have been working on that has just gone live after over ten years of development. It is a new Core System, as well as the blueprint for a company that will publish adventure modules, each belonging to a different genre and with unique settings.
The highlights are story making tools, a flexible core system that allows you to play virtually any concept in any setting, including homebrew and the worlds of games, novels, serie, movies, instantly and without a need for bulky conversions. The core system is tailored for a highly collaborative, creatively free and plot-heavy style and may be adapted to nearly all roleplay platforms in existence, both tabletop and online.
The official Kickstarter will open in two months, and artwork, extras and concept material may be previewed on Patreon.
A little update: we released the Cinematic Trailer for our first adventure, and we are starting a discussion about system features across several communities and roleplay forums. Check it out, and join in the discussion (even here) if you are curious!
Mini-update for interested readers:
Announcing a new "articles" section. Updating on a weekly basis, it contains roleplaying tips, Blackwind System simulations and inspiration for eager players and game masters.
This week: compelling character features and introducing protagonists (Noir Edition) plus some exclusive Core Manual Artwork!
Open, and kicking! Early birds close soon, and at the 2000 mark we'll upgrade the content of the E-goodies box!
Mid-Campaign update, 16 days left!
The Blackwind Project keeps growing, now with a full CHG review and interview, featured on TGN, a Q&A with Dan Davenport (Harboiled GMShoe), a new art drawing video, expanded system page, and close to hitting the second Stretch Goal.
