The Staff of Ilmater

Mark Gaines checks the city library and the library at the temple of Ilmater for information on the staff of Ilmater, what it looks like, where it might be found and any way it might be obtained. He asks the librarian and temple clergy for help. He also sends a letter to Caria Arna at Ilmater's temple, and to Fharz. He compares any drawings he finds to sketches of the staff he found in the mountains.

A man lead me to a place deep in the mountains where I saw a staff fixed firmly into a pedestal. The guide believed that it may be the Staff of Ilmater, but I am uncertain. Does the temple have any information on what it may look like, or how it may be freed if it is indeed the staff?
