Any clue what to do?

I downloaded the NWN Diamond Edition from this here (I have my CD keys.):
//edited to remove links to pirate sites
I can't open the game still, however.
It's a .UIF file, and I can't find the software to open it. Anyone know where that is? Or any advice, or something? Thanks in advance.

I did the same thing to get my copy of NWN. Where you just DL the game from PB then use your CD key. I used
http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-compressiso.htm
To decompress the UIF to an ISO. With the ISO I used magicdisc to mount it as a "fake" disc on my computer. From there I just did a normal install.

Thanks I'll try that. :)

If you can't get it to work, let me know. I have not done it in some time, about a year or two, but I think I could retrace my steps exactly and list them for you. Its a fairly simple process though.

Pretty sure UIF is a Magic-Iso only file type, anyways, so you're on the right track. ;) Use Magic-Iso to either convert it to an ISO or use Magic-Iso's mounting feature and simply mount using that (instead of Daemon Tools for example).

Daemon tools is 100% better, since Magic Iso…is...kinda...only usuful for burning iso's to disc...half of the time. (Atleast it was pretty crappy when I stopped using it like 3 years ago)
Once you install daemon tools and create a virtual drive, just select the image and you will be good to go. One step towards the world of piracy. <3

I'm not sure that Daemon can open UIF files. I haven't installed it on this machine yet as I recently reformatted, but Google seems to say "nup."

urite, urite. I was looking at my piratebay .iso of NwN. My bad.

Eh, I just bought a new copy. Easier that way. For me anyway. I should be on sometime Wednesday evening or Thursday.

Daemon wont open UIF files but there are various tools to convert image file types to ISO, so that daemon (the most popular of disk emulators) can play them. Just google UIF to ISO converter, surely something will pop up. Just for future reference.
