#CoACharacters is Still Working For You
-
I've been alone in the channel for a while now, and I don't know why. This is a good resource for coming up with new ideas, fleshing out concepts, finding new goals for new and even existing characters. If no one answers, you can PM one of the ops and get hopefully get some dialogue later.
Some of the newer DMs should probably try to make a presence since Moloch is on hiatus.

I didn't witness it myself, but 90% of the time that someone was talking to me about CoACharacters, it was about being trolled or otherwise not being taken seriously. I'm sure this wasn't the case for everyone, and doubt it was the case for most people - but it certainly happened.
I can't really be more specific than that, this was 6-12 months ago as well.

Sorry about that experience Lizard-man. Golw and I are there just about all the time because we genuinely wish to help.
Cheers.

It wasn't me who had them, but it may be an idea to keep a watch for that sort of activity.

I've never seen trolling in #coacharacters, to be honest. We've had a few experiences with people (typically newer or inexperienced players) who come in, and ask for help. They then perceive any advice or ideas as criticism and character bashing. It's really mind boggling.

mostly it's dead in there

Likely right Glow. There often is an expectation that the people in the channel are suppose to do "everything". We'll keep an eye on it though.
Thanks to the DM team who have a couple members joining the channel now.
Cheers
