Awesome Steam Sales Thread

I already have the game obviously, but if you don't it's 75% off:

Fantastic game.
-
I love this game. I wish more games were like this instead of mindless first-person shooters. Be sure to get the community patches and the Camarilla mod for more fun.
-
I was certain that this was a troll thread until Khamal's post. <_<
VTMB is a great game. Definitely get the fan-made patches though.
-
Amazing game.
-
I remember this one. loved this game!
-
never played it and no creditcard so can't buy it
-
I had sex with the crazy vampire chick.
Excellent game.
-
Hm, I'd play it again, cause back then I was running it on a 10 FPS cpu. And that was just bad.
I'll torrent it later.

Do they work with the Steam version?

Yes they do.

Then I need to be linked so I can see what they entail!

The Unofficial VTMB Patch version 7.6b - Contains the official 1.2 patch fixes and the latest community fan patches. Must Have!
Camarilla Edition Mod 1.4 and patch 1.4.2 - Best mod for the game, changes some of the quests and adds skins plus more. If you've played the original patched game, try this mod.
Planet Vampire Site - The latest and greatest news (some of the downloads are old though…)
You can only use ONE mod at a time with VTMB!

@Khamal:

Not true.

@Broken:
Not true.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

I used to mod the game. There are things called compatibility patches.

The Camarilla devs specifically warn against mixing mods because each mod changes the system files.
Quote from the Camarilla devs:
Bloodlines does not have a plugin system for user created mods, so the modders have to edit the gamefiles. And as every modder has his own ideas, every mod has different versions of the important game files. So if you install one mod, and then add another one, it leads to a mess that makes the maddest Malk look completely sane in comparison.
The limited inventory also adds to the impossibility to do it. You can't create new items for the game, you can only edit existing ones. So if a mod includes a new quest that needs a new item, an existing one has to go…But I guess you knew that already.
-
It's like this with every game. I've run the game with Camarilla, Clan quest, music and arsenal mod. Because, lo and behold, people can consolidate the edited files and make them compatable. This was waaay back however.
EDIT: In fact, they've already combined all these mods into the newest Clan Quest.

Additionally, this mod integrates several other mods available for Bloodlines, including:
Arsenal Mod: Which modifies all the existing weapons to be more interesting and dynamic and even includes throwable hand grenades! Read more here
Camarilla Edition 1.4: This mod overhauls most of the game play elements, including revised disciplines, blood loss over time, new character models, sound effects, an in-game online college, and more.
Weapons Sounds Mod: This mod changes the sounds for all the original guns to make them more realistic and interesting. Read more here
Histories Revised Mod: This mod tweaks some of the histories, and adds a few additional rules, including more difficult stealth encounters, increased falling damage, and greater frenzy probability.
Unofficial Patch 7.3: Clan Quest Mod, is built ontop of the latest version of the Unoffiical Patch, and includes the ability to toggle the patch's "plus version" mode, which includes enhanced features and game play. Read more here
Music Mod – Revamps (hah!) the entire game's soundtrack to something a little more eclectic. Read more here
Pop's Difficult Mod – Increases the difficult of all enemies, making them stronger, faster, and tougher. Also enhances the player's disciplines as you must rely on them more heavily.
PnP Combat Mod – Captures the spirit of the combat system of the game's PnP equivalent. A great combo with Pop's, to create a truly harrowing game experience, i.e. “Nightmare Mode†-
That's burgermeister's mod, which is the only one that does a decent job of mixing mods - but it's three patches behind now and pretty much useless if you want to play current. And, the new skins in Clan Quest are really lame (crotchless jeans and cowboy hats for the Toreador for example…) Fortunately, you can opt for the original skins during install.
What I meant was that you can't mix mods without some kind of special compilation super mod like Clan Quest. Bloodlines isn't like Oblivion plugins.
