My goal is to figure out how to play evil and be a nercomancer without letting people know till i do some kind of cool ritual hmmmms!
Evil hard maybe i should go back to team good.
Hard yes, but it's rewarding too - you get ganked by people you've never heard of! You just can't buy those rewards, man.
Props to those who did managed to get rid of Moloch's Avatar, a little piece of him died too that night. I hope you're all happy.

@Khamal:
Why is it that only a few select people were able to assassinate such a high ranking NPC while others struggle with much less significant plots?
I just don't get it at all. :roll:
This reflects life in general.I guess about 1% of the world, if that, do the amazing awesome. The rest of us look on in awe. But, that's what makes it awesome. If every week, a band of brothers killed someone as epic as Cassiel, it would be so dull. I guess 80% of us wanted to kill Cassiel, and probably less than 10% of us thought it could be done, 1% of us tried and failed, and you lot succeeded!
Kudos to you lot who set things in motion and, against all odds, achieved the awesome.
Kudos to the DMs to allow the attempt and support it's result. But now, this has to be a server changing event. CoA must look quite different in a few weeks time, or what the hell was Cassiel doing with all that gold? I believe that the city and the server should morph siginificantly now that one of the great movers and shakers is gone.

Why would anyone want to kill Cassiel? I still don't get it! Name one evil thing that man has ever done. Seriously. One.
-
He was a Sembian. All Sembians are merchants and therefore inherently evil. Therefore Cassiel was evil.

@AWESOMEMAN:
Someone kill Kanthea, and then you'll see the REAL fun begin.
This.

I think it is very unfair to accuse anyone, player or DM, of impropriety in what happened with Cassiel. As far as I know OOCly, this is what happened:
One PC proposed it to mine, realizing it was a suicide mission. That PC then went and talked it over with some accomplices, then they talked to the DM for input and set a time. The PCs then went off on their suicide mission. Most of the assassins involved died and the ones who did not are now on the run from pretty much everyone.
It was not the case of the elect being picked, as far as I know, most involved were not app characters, not in an app faction, had no special personal quests, had no special DM attention and had no special loot. I would wager they got the attempt is because they clearly communicated a good plan to the DMs and because it was so risky.

Ironically Cassiel was a more positive influence on the region then most goodly pcs/npcs ever will be.

One of those characters had been around for three years and had never even been noticed by the DM's, to my knowledge. Talk about an epic way to retire an ancient, unknown character who was -still- built for crafting. Who puts 15 points into all of the crafting fields anymore? Pshaw
