Fresh Evil

I guess I'll throw in my two cents.
The server always has an abundance of "I'm going to eat your babies because I'm evil" sort of villians. I'd like to see a well played villian who thinks he's doing the right thing, those are typically my favorite villians.
I find it on the contrary, really. Not seen any of note who are the 'baby eating' sort of simple evil. Last one that comes to mind? Kach. Hell, I think he even really DID eat babies!
I'd kinda like to see that a bit more often, well played of course, so they stand out. Someone most of the server can rise up and try and beat, while another good portion of the real evil guys help.
Guess Crowley came close to that sort of thing.
In the end, I like any type of evil so long as it is well played, and not the stupid 'I crush because I am strong' Garagosan sort of mentality. Though not sure what would eb origional.

This server always needs more evil to balance the overwhelming amount of good things happening IMO.
Um. What?
Sarcastic troll is sarcastic.
loves it.
Anyway. Come up with a good idea and tell the DMs about it, not the players. If they know what's coming it won't be as good. SURPRISE us with your evil intent. By the way, Mortek had a GOOD IDEA. Haven't you ever heard of arsonists? Ever read The Stand? That mentality is good in a villain. Hated and oppressed, just wants to burn shit, too crazy ingenious to get caught.
Anyway, I repeat, keep it on the down low with the players if you have a great idea. -

Played one of those once, was prety fun!
I do like to see evil character with well thought out motives, reguardless of what they are. For example a character isn't evil becuses he eat babies, that just a evil act. Its why he's eatting babies that him evil.
I like to less people who complete headjobs too, a twisted reasonings fun, a guy who just does evil for the sake of evil just boring.
To be honest when it comes to characterisation, its typical good to pick a sin for a hero and a virtue for a villan to flesh them out a bit.
For example your velshie may enjoy creating undead and causing fear and darkness as he seeks knowolge and power, but prehaps he has a habit of preserving and protecting lore too.
