Spicy, Salacious Rumours!

Several different stories ranging from the ribald, salacious to the gentle and romantic were spread, regarding a certain romance between a tall, red-skinned and draconic figure, with a local, but quite (in)famous knight!
Whilst some were coloured to make the imposing extraplanar traveller seem strong and powerful compared the meek knight by comparison - more than a few did make the connection that the knight was now, in fact a tried and true dragon(s)layer.
Wherever these rumours sprung up, the jingling of bells wasn't far behind.
