Research: Aumantorian tome
-
A tome of Aumanator perhaps connected to Deadwell was confisicated from the Bhaalan cultist Rhuul when he drove shadows towards us in the ruins.
The tome was in celestial and given to Maire of the House of the Morning to work on translating where it was discovered it was missing pages, which were again recovered from Rhuul when he attacked them.
Maire passed it onto Kira of the Precept and we have been working to translate it to find its purpose, We have taken it to the celestial corpse in the ruins, said to be a servant of Aumanator to see how it responds and also to the celestial orbs in the Hillmarch mine
When something is learned I will update the file

The tome has been revealed to be a tome of hymns and spells that can repel evil and burn away darkness
Kira unfortunately lost her eyes when she and Fyevarra worked magic on the celestial orb in the mines to try and make it translate the tome ,she managed to climb inside a short time, she says she was bombarded with light and knowledge and it imparted on her the celestial language.
The celestial knowledge deemed her not truly pure and burnt out her eyes.
Rhuul suspected the tome may be a key to vaults hidden in Deadwell.
It does merit investigation

Myself, Julianna and Fyevarra went to Deadwell to try and uncover any secrets with the tome
Darkness receded a little but it seems the Hymns will need to be read out for it to be truly effective which means we will need Kira present or ask her to translate it and see if reading in common will work as taking a blind woman into a deadly crypt is unwise

@v-rage
Perhaps they need to be sung? Have you considered that?

Miss Florent
They may need to be sung.
The issue is the tome is in the celestial, The only person who can comprehend the hymns I know of is Kira.
She would need to translate the tome and see if singing them in common works, Or else be given a heavy escort due to her blindness as we dont want to put her in undue danger
