New Gaming Table
-
the PnP Game I DM just went from 3 players to 5, which puts 6 seats at the table. Way to much for the little shitty round table we were using. Nice game tables I could find to buy started at $2500+ for a 6 seat table. I wanted an 8 seat. This started getting stupid in pricing.
So about $270 in wood/stain/Poly, $45 in bottle openers, cup holders, etc… we have this..

Build under brace, attach.

Box it. This forms the inner table at a 2.5" drop so that long session games can be played here. A topper that will flush it will be able to go over this to cover whatever is in this section, and allow for gaming over the top as well. That way long games don't get fucked up by shorter games.

Supports for the armrests, which is where dice trays and cup holders will be.

Form this. This outside form will be where the bottle openers mount to and form the outside of the table.

Build the legs.

All that's left is a couple of coats of poly, and then move the table inside and attach the legs. Unfortunaley it won't be ready for this weeks game if I want to do more than one coat of Poly (I do) because I got sick and fell off schedule. But it will be ready to go by next session.
Once I get the poly on it and mount the bottle openers and get it moved inside I'll give a few final shots.

Hey, nice work RJ. That table is looking pretty good.

It's done! Need to make the topper, eventually. But the main table is done/inside.
