The Sun and the Soul
-
I've been talking with several adventurers of Arabel about the values of our faith. These values, as all of you know, serve as the pillars which support the betterment of ones self. Striving to better ones self strengthens our very soul, and more importantly, brings the Dawn.
In the coming days I will set out on a pilgrimage to complete four great works;
Nature, Art, Liberty, Culture.
These great works will be determined by thine self and those who aim to assist in brightening every soul in Arabel, like some fantastical ritual to bring hope to the people by honoring Lathander himself.

The first pillar will be Nature. How might one demonstrate their love for Lathander and in turn inspire the people of the region with nature?
We could start simple, contact druids, plant trees, new growth is after all inspiring.

Today I failed an important task. A priest of the lord of death knocked on our very door and demanded a duel with one of Lathanders chosen. I accepted the duel, and fought him in single combat at the heart of the historic district.
I failed... I failed Lathander, and most importantly I failed the Light.
I will begin reparations for this incredible loss, and if my peers require my resignation, I will submit it.

The Oath to the People
Be without fear, even in the darkest of night there is Light.Be true, and without wrong, or injustice will reign.
Rise from failure, as long as there is light, there is hope.
Protect the weak, for compassion is strength.
Seek the enemy, each dawn brings challenge.
Confront all lies, no word but that of the righteous can prevail.
