On the tailoring page in Crafting part of the forum it says that Cloth Sling requires 1 cloth. In game it requires 1 cloth and one Cloth Pattern.
Healing Kit +1 says it grants 10 xp for completion, but it grants 6 at level 1. Edit: I did this again after gathering more cotton and the xp was reduced to 4. Still level 1 tailor. This actually holds true with all level 1 items.
Owl and Fawn are skinnable corpses, but when you successfully get skin it doesn't actually give it to you. Just meat.
Healing Kit +3 requires 2 Comfrey Root in addition to 2 garlic, aloe, and cotton. The forum list doesn't show Comfrey Root.

Some of the trades on the crafting page show their ability score distribution, like gemcutting is said to be 80% dex and 20% charisma. Tailoring isn't documented, but some recipes which I've done are dex and wisdom and others are dex and int. It doesn't say what distribution though. Could be added to the tailoring crafting page.

Fixed on the forums

Owls should give feathers. Fawns are too small to give skin. Not going to fix this.

XP scales based on level (character level and crafting level and skill level) - and other math things and science and magic that I'm too stupid to figure out, apparently. You got XP.

Added to crafting page: Tailoring is Dex/Int65%/35%

Figured out how the xp works. It's not listed but the 10 xp is based on 50% success rate, not a flat 10. So all of the values on the chart are making the assumption of a 50% success rather than the item itself! And seems like it is a bug then that owls and fawns have skinable option.

In order to not have to edit every single animal in the palette (and make skins for each different variety) I made ALL animals have the skinnable property but some of them just dont and wont have skins. Owl skin? no - you get a feather. Fawns I guess COULD drop deer skins but technically they would be too small to use with deer leather recipes.
