Closed Door trials should not be encouraged

@bowser Honestly, I can see this happening and I feel bad for dms when it does. Having been in 15 player events, it's difficult to get every voice in. Most times a few voices yell louder, and not everyone gets a word in without an event dragging out for hours.
I get your point @shonmann , but getting upset over it oocly doesn't help either. Dming is something that is voluntary. These people spend their personal time to make stories for you or to help your own stories come along. They are doing their best. Maybe try to look from a dms perspective the next time you aren't able to participate in an event. There will always be other events.

DMs reserve the right to limit the number of people who join in on their events purely because our sanity is limited, and player insanity is infinite.

I find trials better when limited in size. Players get obnoxious if there are too many.
That said, I did once stab a star witness to death in a public trial on a rogue p.c. That was interesting.

@lady-of-dungeons
Please don't make it personal as I had stated I had attended the so called event.The only question then I ask and I know it's not an easy thing to answer is
Managing crowd by Restricting player base to certain player types like example nobles and retainers or anyone who has climbed the political ladder of Arabel ?

If I can study a certain Illithid's monocles, Etho could project the image and sound within the spire so people could still see the trial, without being there to cause havok.
