Goblinslayer
Originally a Cormyran Orcthrasher, a slighlty enchanted sword designed for the killing of Orcs, this weapon was transformed somehow during an incident involving a Goblin attack on Southern Arabel.
During the incident, a Tracker for the Garrison named Oliver Baba faced the mighty goblin horde in the guise of his alias, Aldrien.
Oliver, a ranger, had a deep dislike of the goblinoid race, which was further enhanced during the stress of the constant assault against the city's defenders. At one point, the other defenders report that Oliver, then known as Aldrien, went into a sudden frenzy, charging into the massed goblins, laying a path of death and destruction in his path, his Orcthrasher spraying a bloody mess all about him.
The carnage was tremendous, with some standing in awe at the reckless abandon with which the Tracker attacked his foes.
Oliver was so enraged and his sword so drenched in blood, that at one point the sword slipped from his hands. Facing two goblins in his path, he removed his helmet and bashed in the skulls of the two goblins before regaining his sword.
After the battle, Oliver seemed to remember little of the event, nor could he recognize the gore and blood soaking every inch of his being. Even months later, the bloodstains from that day cannot be scraped from the blade itself, always appearing to be freshly coated.

EDIT: Going back now to see if this is toolsetable. I don't have a clue, haven't used the toolset in awhile. I'll try to get around to it, since the on-hit probably requires scripting regardless of what it does.

After a long night in a Sembian tavern, he was approached by a wizard who offered him the girdle in exchange for ninety nine percent of his future profits. The deal was a great success for the wizard, though Trent's constant wearing of the belt did arouse much suspcicion. Trent, tired of his strenuous life, departed Sembia for Arabel. The mysterious wizard reclaimed the belt and gave it to another, while Trent would eventually die to a necromancer after his manly charms disappeared.

Grasp of the Black Hand
+1 Enhancement bonus.
+2 vs. Good.
+1 fire damage, +1 cold damage, +1 acid damage, +1 electrical damage
+2 AC bonus vs. Good.
Damage vulnerability: Divine 50 %
On hit, cast Doom, three rounds, 25 %
Only usable by: Evil or Neutral
Only usable by: Cleric or blackguardThis blackened, oddly cool morningstar resonates faintly with an inner hum when one grasps it. Rumored to have been forged by a Priest of Bane in the service of the Black Network, its construction was such that most forces of good would cause the latent evil power stored inside to magnify and grant the priest enhanced combat power. However, this same dark blessing also makes the wielder vulnerable to the raw power of the divine, as even the powers of Bane find it difficult to manipulate raw divine essence. Its original owner is long dead, but the return of Bane and his renewed alliance with the Zhentarim have restored the nascent power of the weapon. When striking an opponent, four small beams of energy extrude from the head of the weapon, while a fifth, resembling a thumb of sorts, pierces directly into the soul of the opponent, filling him with the tremendous power and fear of the Black Hand.

Boots of the Water Genasi
After witnessing the elegance that a Water Genasi warrior posessed while underwater , a sorcerer of modest powers Thalim Denain was inspired to create boots that would grant the wearer such agility when they are swimming. Eventually he had to settle with a lesser enchantment and the result was a pair of soles that would keep even the loudest and clumsiest of people silent. Ironically the side effect was , that the wearer eventually grew cold , distant and reclusive much like the Water Genasi that Thalim was seeking to emulate.

Fool's Revelation , ring.
Sir Arthur Silverblade , a vigilant paladin of Hoar was tired of dastardly villains dissapearing before his very eyes. So he requested a ring to be forged that would help his not-so watchful gaze when dealing with foes who sought to escape his wrath.Unfortunately for him , such magic comes at a price , and while the ring focused his attention on a nimble thief , it did not allow him to see the cunning tangle trap that was set near his feet that rendered him easy pickings. Since then the ring has passed through quite a few owners , most of whom met a grisly end which suggests rumors of it being cursed might be more than mere superstition.

Morning's Crescent
So named for the early dawn, when the moon is still lit in the sky but the sun has risen, the Cresent is a simple bow, unremarkable to look at, save for a delicately pretty pattern made by the laminates of the wood, contrasting light and dark easily enough.
The bow's powers reflect it's name - unpredictable, between those times of light and dark, the silvery strength of Selune and the golden power of Lathander.

Description:
Saledar was a mage of some respect in the town of Neverwinter. He was an upstanding citizen, and sought to educate the populace and help bring respect to the profession he followed, and the Goddess Mystra. Since a child, he had a secret crush on a young lass who grew to be a popular bardess in the city. Her name was Eileen. Although close as friends, they started to grow apart as her popularity increased. When she finally made it big, she cast of her old friends and way of life to embrace the indulgences of fame. Saledar's love was but a small part of the chaff. Hardly anyone noticed his eventual growth into reclusion. However the docks of Neverwinter watched as the once decent and upstanding man became a bewildering mix of emotions and pain. he created this ring to match his many moods: Quiet, sad seclusion; false braggadocio; moody bouts where he would recklessly cast spells on a whim, and finally the blood red anger that led to his death when he foolishly decided to try and kill the local harbourmaster who was twice his size and strength. Some say the ring still cries for Eileen long after Saledar's death. Others say it remains a monument of failure, a testament to the harshness of rebuked love.

I'm liking a lot of these ideas, but please the idea was to make stuff that fits into Arabel and that you can make using the Toolset. Things that require scripting or have +5 bonuses and regeneration don't exactly fit the idea of the thread.

The Silent Bow
Longbow (with normal class/race restrictions)
Hide +2
Move Silently +2The fantastical legend behind this weapon has it that there was a half-drow woman who's abilities in the shadows were of such a high degree that she appeared to be shadow herself. Said to have been an assassin, once she was wounded while trying to eliminate a target, and dropped her weapon.
When the guards approached it, they saw her blood (which was as black as ink) seemingly fuse with the weapon, turning the entire weapon a glossy black. When held, the weilder would have an almost uncanny understanding of how light and shadow interact, and how sound travels through the air, enabling them to be more stealthy. Once dropped however, the knowledge would seeming disappear from their minds as quickly as the woman could herself.
Although entertaining, the details of the players and events change depending on who is telling the story. The mere fact that there are at least a few dozen or so of these weapons in circulation only casts more doubt on the pulp stories surrounding it's origins.

Plate of Pandemonium
Half-Plate (base AC 7)
Only useable by: Chaotic
+1 AC, +2 vs Lawful
On Hit: 10% chance that the wearer gets the benefits of barbarian rage and is affected by the Confusion spell (level 7)This magical Half-Plate was found in the plane of Pandemonium by the daring planeswalker Lucius Cessus. Details of it's origins remain unknown, but given it's nature it can be assumed to be the work of one of the less than sane residents of the plane. Lucius donned the plate and it served him well in his travels for a time, but eventually cost him his head as during a bar brawl with a drunken bariaur in Sigil's Lower Ward he was overcome with rage and madness, causing him to run out of the tavern to the streets and attack passing dwellers at random. It was his madness-induced attempt to wrestle a chocolate mephit off the hands of a Cornugon that led to Lucius' untimely end. His armor disappeared after his death, and reports of similar incidents of enraged berks wearing armor of matching description have since been popping up from across the multiverse.
Gauntlets of Golem Handling
Unique power 2/day: A targeted construct is struck for 5D6 damage and must save or be immobilized for 1D6 rounds.
This pair of enhanced gauntlets is the creation of Oibuck Binkerly, a gnome magician, engineer and follower of Gond Wonderbringer. Oibuck was obsessed with the creation of golems and other constructs, and was particularly eager to experiment with magically enhanced steam-powered mobile turnip-loaders. These massive, hulking golems were designed to carry large crates of turnips over long distances, and were key to Oibuck's plans to revolutionize gnomish turnip export business by speeding up transportation of turnips and cutting costs at the same time. Unfortunately, many of his creations were prone to malfunction by loss of control, with often dreadful consequences with turnips being hurled at innocent bystanders. While Oibuck was struggling to fix the problems with his creations, he sought a temporary solution by creating a pair of gauntlets that would enable him to tame any contruct gone wild. He was never able to finish perfecting his golems since he fell to an ambush by goblins after having lost his constructs to a hungry batch of rust monsters.

This sword was created by a Barbarian tribe that had an extraordinary Shaman, with a taste of blood he felt that if the tribe's warriors could cleave more enemies, it would then be to the greater enjoyment of his warriors and to the greater fear of his enemies.
These swords comes in both Bastard sword versions and Great sword versions. They are uncommon among other people than the members of the tribe, as the tribe makes it a habit of cutting the people that they see wielding one of their swords into six pieces.

Talen finaly found the goblin, deep into a cave in the north. Because of his so etreme hatred, Talen could still see the goblin, even though he was in the nasty dark caves. His few friends in town said he had lost much of his former happyness. He died, a few days later, hunting down goblins. But even though the shortbow could have been taken up by the goblins, they got so scared of it, that it was left, in the dark tunnels of where Talen fell. Neither he, or the bow was ever found…

Robe of Elemental resistance
First designed by a clumsy druid who had the unfortunate habit of hurting himself alot when living outdoors. Eventually fed up of getting struck by lightning at the wrong times, when he had no magic to stop him getting hurt, and miscalculating where the fire was when it came to cooking his food, he went in seach of a wizard to make something to keep him safer outside. The robe was made to protect slightly from all the main elements, whilst bieng easy to walk in. Once each day, the wearer may speak a command word, which improves the protection of the robes fourfold. The unfortunate druid wore the robes for no more than a week before a tree fell on him in a storm
Elemental resistance (fire/electricity/acid/cold) [5]
Protection from elements 1/dayNight Helm
Created to aid human druids and rangers of the woods, these helms were empowered with the spell Ultravision to give them the vision as if they were carrying a torch, but without bieng able to be spotted as easily because they dont give out a source of light themselves.
