At least this one I've heard of. Sure, gets my vote.

RE: Assault upon Tilverton
After much consideration and self-reflection, I have come to the following conclusions.
- Obyn should remain in Tilverton - let him keep it. The further away he is from Arabel and Lady Islyn, the better off we all are. I care not what he calls himself while he is there.
- We do not ask Obyn to "been the knee" or to kiss anything that has come to my mind. Instead, we offer him a peaceful co-existence and a trade agreement pending the defeat of Marliir. He's too greedy to pass up coin if offered the right terms. We need to offer something that Tilverton cannot make for itself. I imagine grains will be top of the list. He does not have much farmland to speak of. His people may be well-fed for now, but how long will that last? Without income, he will start to lose gold, and thus, food supplies.
- We offer that there will be no trial but only if he denounces any claims to Arabel, its lands, or its people. If he is not a citizen of Arabel, we cannot charge him or try him.
- We find out how Marliir is able to approach the city. We employ diviners to set up wards around the city to detect her.

RE: Assault upon Tilverton
Because I cannot stomach giving him anything that takes position away from Lady Islyn. That's why.

RE: Laam Wilaml
Glowing swords is a terrible way to choose a government. This goes for the Dragon Bastard, Lady Vaylan, Obyn, or anyone else.

Obyn caused Laam Wilaml to glow when he was near
I still think glowing swords is a terrible way to choose a government. This goes for the Dragon Bastard, Lady Vaylan, Obyn, or anyone else.

The True Lord Lady Islyn
I owe many of you an explanation. I will do my best to do so here.
- The true Lord Lady Islyn was kidnapped and kept prisoner by the White Witch
- This was discovered after Obyn gave his speech at the north gate a few months ago. Members of the House began an internal investigation wherein we discovered Obyn had been telling the truth
- After much investigation into where she could be being held, a strike force was assembled to free her
- She was in a very weakened state, and thus was kept securely at the House of the Morning in Eveningstar until she was well enough to take hold of her house once more
- A ploy was devised to expose the fake and reinstate the true Lord Lady. Thus the events of today's gala, wherein the fake Islyn was slain.
- The true Lord Lady Islyn has taken control of House Misrim
- Lord Eskil, who had been a prisoner of the fake Islyn, was released from the magical spells imprisoning him
- Senior Retainer Rismente and a diviner named Esperanza were able to learn from the blood of the fake the location of the White Witch. This nearly cost Rismente his life.
I"m sure I've left out some details but it has been a very busy day!

RE: Assault upon Tilverton
Now that the true Lord Lady Islyn is in control of House Misrim, we can proceed with a diplomatic approach to Tilverton.

RE: Assault upon Tilverton
An outright assault on the town will result in the deaths of many civilians. And what is to say the orcs and Zhents inside wont be the ones killing them? Give me a few days to come up with a plan to draw Obyn out.
However, Paul will be given no quarter. His crimes were committed before he joined with Obyn.
