Unable to play often.
I want to say I am sorry to my fellow players and DMs as I am unable to play often due to real life. For this reason I am not going to join any faction with my characters. Playing in a faction requires, in my opinion, being very active to see plots through. I have not been able to conclude plots in the past due to characters dying or retiring and I did not like it. Hopefully in the future I won't do the same to you.
So for now, I am going to interact with players and try not to get involve with anything long term.

RE: Who are we?
Robert was my best character, aka Bob. He did a lot of jobs for a lot of people and was almost killed by Helmar Bloodchurn, and almost got a bunch of people to kill Helmar Bloodchurn. I found out about a lot of plots and personal secrets in a short period of time with him, did a lot of cheating and backstabbing, working for many people. Since I knew of the double crossings, but not the whole details of these plots I still can't talk about them for fear of spoilers. I made an insane amount of money for just selling information or doing odd jobs for people. Died exploring the underdark just outside a drow city.
Meir, my first character in Arabel, that was shaped and influenced by all the things that happen to him in the city. Focused in Necromancer School later on in his carrier seeking power in the weave and out of frustration or for the need of revenge. Felt like I was getting nowhere with him, and it became extremely frustrating and hard to play with him so I retired.

RE: If you not in my "friends" group I don't care
In my case the only time they don't welcome me in groups is because of something I did with the character in question. With that being said, let me also say that I never been pass level 5 in the server, that I could remember. My characters are usually low levels, and I usually get in trouble with them too soon, or they begin to go in a direction completely different of what I was looking for.

RE: Slaad beings information.
//Thanks for the prompt reply. I was just doing that.
Othniel thanks the librarian and proceeds to read some books on the matter.

Slaad beings information.
Othniel, the mage, asks the librarian for a book containing studies, or research on slaads. Origins, physical or magical properties, diet, natural enemies, level of intelligence, habitat.

Resource to create a statue of Mystra
Othniel ask the librarian of any book contaning raw materials previously used to sculpt statues, to find which one would be better suited or better representing the weave in all its natural glory.

RE: Game Etiquette would help a ton
I have played games forever also. I have not always played Role Playing, or hardcore Role Playing, with that said it is not the same for me to handle loot situation in Arabel. I do it from the characters point of view no matter how annoying or unfair it gets. I just make my chat window huge since I wont be fighting or moving when they are discussing about the loot.
I have watched evil characters grab all the good loot in a group and I have walked away with just the coins and see it as fun. I just do a few smart emotes like, "he grabs the coins and count his blessings considering the crowd he is in" and walk away. I have also chased some character in town wielding a greataxe to have my loot because I thought "need before greed" was unfair, all in character, and with greedy clearly stated in my characters description. Today I just cut in line because I could not wait for my turn to get the coins. All while risking being hated by everyone, people deciding I should not get coins because they get annoy with me, but the thing is I was having fun. I didn't think that in any of the above situations, even when I was the victim, that I was hurting anyone. I think is fun for everyone.
I am a big supporter of loot being handle in game through roleplaying in Arabel. For better or worst, and some characters never shut up, never listen, never stop getting the whole group in trouble, never do anything big to help anyone, never, never, never but as long as you roleplay I see it as the best thing possible for Arabel.

RE: Wizard concept ideas?
Well that is good! I was poking around the internet for concepts and found one that is really good for a woman wizard and found the way the author describe it as very catchy! He called it, "A woman's scorn" as in "Hell knows no Fury like a woman scorn".
The build was based in a lot of AOE highly offensive and noisy spells! I am not sure how someone would weave that into a Mage of the Mages Guild but it sure sounds like challenging and fun.
