RE: Getting away with it

Kudos.
Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find the kudos thread anymore.
Just want to say that the reason that made me log back in was reading all the forum war especially between @WabbitSeason and @Chomper. Just love it.
Makes me think of a FBI Vs local police investigation war. It's just plain awesome. :D I don't really play characters who get involved much in these type of stories, but I'm a reader on yours! :)

RE: efficient use of the forums
This thread is just missing a link to pharmacy online pills and it'd look like a bot's post. Lol.

I personally like dicks, and if it were up to me we would have a whole bag of them. The penetrating honesty they bring to the table is always welcome in my book.
.......wait, that didn't come out right.
I wanted to quote your 4 first words and make these eyes: O_O, but then, I read the rest of your sentence and I was like "Shit, it even gets better, can't quote juste four words out of that".

(and we could of done it if we were a little more careful in the execution).
You mean, if you had builds/equipment which provides enough AC/hp that you don't have the 'holy shit' fear that something will crit you or dispel, as well as enough damage to clear them.
Because, let's be honest here, that's probably the difference between your group and the group which cleared it. :man_golfing_tone1:

RE: Raising Server Numbers
I can do that too. Then I'd need to wait a few days to a week before playing it and testing if it's actually 'fun' to play a character like that, because you rarely know before you do it.
After a week, the hype can shrink for a few people.

RE: Raising Server Numbers
Here's the two things that sucks with apps.
#1: You need to wait.
#2: Someone has to agree with you on if your goals make sense or not, like, if it's worth it to allow you to play X because of Y.
Personally, I don't even make myself a background or even a build idea when I first make a character. I just make like.. a character, on the spot, with a general idea of the personality, like: "I'll make a dwarven wizard who's so ugly his momma didn't love him and who's so greedy he can't make friends." or: "I'll make a warrior who plays the lute and wants to be a musician, but has no bard/magic levels."
I'm not the type to play weird subraces, but perhaps sometimes I'd feel like trying out an earth genasi, and then see if I get the 'feeling' out of the character. That's what makes me stick on a character or not, the feeling I get out of playing it.
With apps, you might work your ass on a concept, backstory, goals and shit, and then realise that "Meh, actually, I don't enjoy it as much as I thought."
Also I noticed something else.
Permadeaths. I've noticed that everytime a group of players get wiped, we lose one or two, for a month or two.
Sure, it makes the events more fun because of the risk, and I think that what makes this server or EFU different from others is that risk, but.. I guess we have to live with the fact that people will quit once they lose a character.
I am a slow RPer, as in, it takes time for me to build up things. And honestly, with my current main whom I've played since June (That's just 3 months, right?), I've seen SO MANY of her 'circle of friends' go, that I have a hard time to figure out what I can do. Should it always be "short and nice", or can it be "long and prosper"?
Once a character accomplished their goals, should they really retire, or can't they just.. have new goals, once theirs has been accomplished? It's not really a question seeking an awnser, just feed for thoughts.

RE: Just a thought. Not a suggestion.
The temporary's been rather long as I've been around since may and I've seen 2 weeks of good numbers, the rest was low-pop.

RE: Out of Game / Leaving Thread
It's the first time since may that I havn't played in two days, when I'm usually online from 8 to 16 hours a day even though I work full time.
I kind of lost motivation lately because of a few things.
So I'll be back sometimes I guess. Might be in a week might be in two months, I don't know.
