A dismal day in Collinwood
-
The night settles in Collinwood, as the Kings decree reaches the westen ends of the kingdom. One by one, the small group of house put out their lights, until one remains. A small house in the northern end of the village, known to travelers as the home of The Fellowship. Long into the night, the light shines like a single beacon of hope, in a vast sea of darkness. A lone cat, hunting for a late night snack, sneaks past an open window, letting soft voices disperse into the warm summer night.
Just before Lathanders warm, embracing rays of comfort chase away the darkness of the night, the door opens to the small house. One by one, a grizzled group of adventurers with grim faces exist the house, pulling up their hooded cloaks and disperse on seperate ways. All there is left, is the soft, female voice, accompanied by the tunes of a lute.
In the realm of heroes, where dreams can fly,
Stood the Fellowship, beneath the sky,
United they stood, with hearts aglow,
Through battles fought, they'd bravely go.Oh, the Fellowship, a bond so strong,
In their quests of right, they'd right the wrong,
But now the time has come to part,
Their journeys end, but not the heart.Through trials faced, they stood as one,
Through laughter and tears, their tales were spun,
Each member unique, a vital thread,
In the tapestry of memories, they've led.As they bid farewell, a bittersweet embrace,
A chapter ends, but new paths they'll face,
With memories cherished, they'll carry on,
Their legacy bright, like the rising dawn.In every heart, a fire burns,
For the Fellowship, their love still yearns,
Though they part ways, they'll never forget,
The bonds they forged, in battles met.As the song nears its end, the light is put out, and a lonesome figure exists the house. The door is closed, and all that is left in Collinwood, is the last verse, lingering in the air, as the first rays of Lathander reaches the small village.
Shed no tear, for the heroes true,
In their parting ways, they find something new,
For the Fellowship, forever they'll stand,
In the annals of time, a noble band.
