How awesome is this override? DAMN awesome.
-
well I installed it and while the textures look great,
it seems to have bugged all my creature skins..Screenies to follow
-
-
What? I thought everybody knew all the Commoners in the East District were in fact undead?
-
@Dondknight
did you speak of nwncq or nwshader?
for nwncq it works well on 8 years old pcs so i do not think your lags comes from it.
for nwshader try to use only one or two shaders (by default you have 3 activated)
for example DOF & SSAO or BLOOM alone (as bloom is an eavy one), if it is still laggy try only DOF or SSAO ;) -
@chico
Actually, Turbospew neglected to notice that he installed the .hak on april fools day. That was the reason for all the liches.
-
just installed the override. used the EXTENDED and it is awesome! Worth the download. The caves in the twisted caverns look really creepy with this override on! Now if only I could explore the entire server to check it out :D
-
You should probably stick with basic for CoA.
Playing a character that avidly uses some hidden spots, the override has some bad luck with dropping rocks over the transitions, in full form.
-
Version 1.3 appears to be available. Here.
Anyone tried it? -
Didn't see a difference myself.
It is just as awesome as the older version.
-
@Kathrine:
the download ticket experied on both of those links :(
The blur/bloom -is- awfully damn over done.
Any chance someone has a fix for those sun-spot/lensflare things? :shock:
(And…I have the bloom.cgfx file in a 'NWShader' folder. Is that the right place? I wasn't sure where it should go.)

To eliminate the crazy lens flare delete PLC_I05.mld and PLC_K01.mld of your override folder.
