Suggested Overrides 1.69 Compatible
-
Just a general list of overrides that won't clash with 1.69 since nearly any old one will as many of us override-aholics learned.

Taking a guess, I'm thinking reskins won't apply to scaled models, though, as a heads up.
-
And the werewolf override breaks the werecat animation.
Just to warn about that.
-
Added Toro's re-skin to the list.

OMG!!
Been waiting for this for the longest since it worked last,,works better than before:

Bump.
Updated creature re-skins link.
The old one was defunct. The new one by far more expansive.
Highly recommended. The ghasts crawl ghoulishly around on all fours.
Spine tingling. -
I've been trying to get the Alternate Combat Animations to work with the server, following the installation rules exactly as instructed, but no relevant options come up in CoA's custom crafting conversation. Any ideas?
-
They look awesome. i use them all, and they rock my world! Especially the goblins, love the goblins.
-
I never know which file(s) to download from that site, there's always several versions and generally no -Download this!!!- button for idiots like me, so I normally just don't bother. Noticed some of those links had haks in there and I thought the server was 'none hak pack' I assume these hak packs are client side only then?
-
Hak packs won't work unless a server uses them. These are overrides, though! (with, I think the exception of the alternate animations, by the look of it.)
So all you do is download the override and put it in your ovveride folder. The creatures one is in 3 parts, so download those.
-
Alternate combat animations can just be put in your over ride, there is a version for that.
-
I finally figured out what I was doing wrong, I had to use nwhak.exe in the utils folder to extract the animation and conversation files into the override folder. :) Cheers
Edit: The conversation nodes for combat animation mode selection don't show up in Arabel, though, just in regular offline NWN. Maybe they can be added to the Arabel crafting conversation? If it won't cause any trouble or bugs, of course :> Thanks

I cant get the combat animations to work. They apparently need you to use the crafting menu to work, which we cant do on coa. Are there any suggestions?
-
I don't think the reskins work with SI's highlight mod. Is there a way to merge them?
-
It's tedious but you can do it yourself easily. If there is an appearance override, then just open it up with a 2da editor, like this one, and then you just edit the values for all small invisible creatures (dwarf, elf, human, basically everything with an invisible less than _080 next to it.) The value you edit is just Targetable, either a 1 or a 0, make them a 0.
-
This should be a sticky.
-
No, we have too many stickes (which makes it hard to find anything useful.) I unstickied it because all you need to do is check the:
Thread, which is sticked just 4 posts down.
-
I'm totally noob on this, take the creature overrides for example, which of the various files should I download and is it as simple as just unzipping them into the override folder?

Thanks, this stuff is awesome! But one thing, the beautiful grass ends around 7m from my character. Is there anyway to increase the drawdistance? I coudn't find it in the graphics options
