Blood Drinker
Originally wielded by the wizard who enchanted it, the Blood Drinker was designed specifically as a last resort, when all other spells had been spent. While but a simple dagger, the Blood Drinker is enchanted to both slowly eat away the blood of its victim when causing a wound. Likewise, it allows its wielder to slowly regain constitution from the sucking of blood.
The Wizard has since been slain, and the Dagger has shifted hands many times in the past. A perfect assassin's weapon, it is suspected that this Dagger was the weapon used in many assassinations. In all of them, the victim was found in his bed, drained of blood, and with but a single puncture wound on his arm.

Corpse Bag
"The Dribbler, who depending who you asked was either a gnome or a goblin perhaps something completely different, haunted the sprawling cemetary of Neverwinter for years, evading every efforts at capture. The creature was painfully thin, with a large over-sized head. It is said that he made pacts with ghouls, and would fetch them the choicest and freshest corpses for consumption. All he expected in return was that his miserable life be spared, and that the liver of the corpses he fetched would be given to him for his soups."
"This was his bag. The Dribbler was far too weak to carry a husky human by himself, and thus depended upon the bag's magical enhancement to allow him to conduct his grizzly trade. The battered bag smells strongly of corpses."

Severed Head of the Ugly Maiden
"The Ugly Maiden was a painfully thick, weepy girl who was terrorized by her witchy mother. When the Maiden turned sixteen she finally found a suitor who looked past her physical deformities. Starry eyed and filled with a rare joy, her Mother turned her happiness to dust. She inflicted a powerful curse upon the daughter, warning her mercilessly that her first tender kiss would turn her suitor into a monster "to better befit thy ugliness, child of mine."
Unwilling to forsake that anticipated moment of pleasure, the Maiden did not warn her suitor of this curse. When kissed, the hideous monster that was once the suitor tore off her head in a rage.
The Ugly Maiden's severed head has been carefully embalmed and contains some vestige of the original curse. When carefully kissed, it temporarily turns the kisser into a frightening and powerful monster."

It Takes Two to Dance
Most people imagine that fighting with a two-bladed sword result in a deadly dance of spinning blades, and are thus rather disappointed when the predictability and boring moves of the style does not live up to their expectations. One such elf decided to abandon the usual training and make a fighting style more in line with his imagination. He would spin into combat in a way that would deflect most clumbsy blows out of the way. This is his weapon.

Ihgbae was a powerful cleric of Talos, but had one critical flaw: he was miserly. Extremely. After refusing to tithe for several years, he found that his prayers were no longer answered. Left without any spells and still wanting to spread destruction, he spent a large part of his gold into having this staff enchanted.
Ironically, the next natural lightning storm saw his end.

It is often thought of executioners as especially cruel and stupid people. Ongril has long been in the employ of the militia as an executioner, and was very different from the stereotype, as he is such an example of stupidity he is in a whole different category. Thinking that two axes would allow him to execute twice as many people at once, he had this double axe made. The edges, lovingly sharpened, seem to barely stop as they go through matter (namely, armor and flesh). Ongril probably misplaced the double axe at one point.

A curse was once placed on a mage, slowly robbing him of his senses. When he lost the ability to talk, he adapted by storing his spells in trinkets and potions, thus avoiding to uselessly cast his spells silently at great cost. When he lost of his sight, he went to battle with his tower's key instead of this trinket.
Holding the key out in front of him, the user turns the key as if he was unlocking a door. The more he turns the key, the more powerful the spell.

Broken will
These shards of glass were once part of a powerful mirror of imprisonment. It is rumored the mirror lay in some old mossy crypt, imprisoning any intruders that would dare make an attempt on the treasures that lay within.
They came to be in their current state after a troublesome yet adventurous halfling managed to shatter the mirror with a well banked skip rock. The halfling was never seen leaving, and his compatriots vowed never to employ another bare-footed thief.
The shards are about the right size to be used for throwing, yet they are very light and fly awkwardly through the air. Though they do not carry much force and do little physical damage to their target, some of the mirror's latent power still resides in the shards, sucking the very essence from the target.

Helmet of the Headstrong (cursed)
These helmets were created by an evil sorcerer who sought to conquer the Western Heartlands by creating an army of mentally dominated warriors. The helmets were meant to be worn by his best soldiers, the enhancement not only making them courageous, disciplined and sturdy, but also ensuring that they would not be able to resist their master's charms and turn against him. The Compelling Parchment of Gargauth
This rotting scroll, upon which a noble of Suzail detailed the various tactics he employed in his rise to power, has been pursued by many since the death of its original owner. Following its publication, the noble in question was placed into exile, an attempt by the various Suzailian noble houses to retain some degree of authenticity in the eyes of their dependants. Unlike many such guides, this one seems to bear the seal of approval of Gargauth himself, the Lord Who Watches. Its presence at the creation of any contractual agreement tends to result in the manifestation of oddly worded clauses, obscure syntax, and poor judgement on the part of the involved adherents. Most recently used to great effect by a would-be usurper in the befuddlement of loyal subjects, there are rumors of this fickle parchment finding its way into the hands of one of Arabel's more morally-loose noble houses. Fortunately for the authority figures of Arabel, such nobles are not known for their keen intellects, requisite in the effective utilization of such a tome. There are, however, capable forces who would stop at little to find such an item in their possession.

Storyteller's Staff
This staff was designed by Grendel Obertus, a War Wizard Summoner who enjoyed testing the militia of the city he was assigned to by summoning creatures and setting them to look threatening, herd civilians around, and so on. Eventually, he found he enjoyed this so much that he moved sideways within the War Wizards, training others to follow the high standards of skill he expected.
Eventually, his minidrama's became so complex that he found himself constantly in need of bit players, civilians who would assist with information pertaining to the 'case', as well as tyhe occasional flash-bang to truely catch the attention of his trainees.

Shards of the Broken Mirror
These shards of unbreakable glass originally composed the fine sheet of glass used in a mirror framed with gold and encrusted with a variety of gems. The mirror itself was originally claimed as an adventurous Tymoran's spoils after the clever man and his companions bested a middle-aged dragon in combat. The mirror was given to Darmos Lauthyr as a gift, symbolic of the Tymoran proverb, 'Fortune favors the bold,' but was shortly thereafter shattered when a clumsy luckbringer tripped and knocked over some furnishings in the Lady's House.
Furious, Darmos cast the young luckbringer out along with the destroyed objects. Unfortunately, the same luckbringer was ambushed and killed not long after his departure from the caravan city, but the bandits were disappointed to discover the lad carried naught but "some rags and a shattered mirror." So they made off with the golden frame, and since then the shards of the mirror have gone unaccounted for.

The Whispering Ring
Gubbi Uppirut was a halfling with a big mouth and next to no intelligent things to say. He kept blabbering on and on about his great heroics, when everyone knew he couldn't stand in a fight against a kobold. His endless monologues annoyed everyone, but particularly the evil wizard Norland, who decided to rid the town of the little pest. Norland devised a magical ring to protect him from his many enemies, a ring that required a limitless source of speech as a component. For that component he had just the right thing in mind. Gubbi was lured to Norland's tower and imprisoned within the ring, completing it's enhancement. Little magical whispers would emanate from the ring and harm anyone who dared to strike against Norland. But even when reduced to whispering, Gubbi's nonsensical blabbering was no less irritating. The Wizard soon grew so frustrated with his creation that he in a fit of rage threw the ring down from a bridge into river below.

Deep in the wood, the Ghostwise, Styrs, Centuars, and all of the woodland beings know the tale of the mischievious Sprite named Zizlaroo. Zizlaroo was quite the capable and clever Sprite even amoungst her own kind. The brash and ultimately reckless nature of her boldness was all because of her dagger, The Pixies Middle Finger. Where she acquired it remains a mystery-the gods only know, yet is still debated by the Elves very much. Zizlaroo would find endless hours of enjoyment playing jokes on anyone or anything she could come upon. Tripping them up, hide and seak, throwing pebbles hidden from afar–just about anything to get her laughs. Things would be missing, rearranged, out of place or broken all the time. And it didnt matter who she played her spitefull tricks on. One day, by the O'rionys Lake, she came accross a Brown Bear. As the Bear was taking a long deep drink, she pricked the Bear in the backside with her dagger pretending to be a wasp and scare the poor fellow face first into the water. Roaring in a whirling half-circle the Brown Bear just opened his mouth and inhaled poor Zizlaroo in one gulp. As an Elven voice called for the Bear in the distance to get a move on and catch up to him, the Bear looked at the dagger the hapless Sprite dropped to the ground as he swallowed her. Shrugging the Bear hurried off to catch up with his friend. The Pixies Middle Finger is assumed to have remained there and its whereabouts are still unknown.
