Kinda circles back to a re-occuring issue with the d20 game system, the huge impact of the math.

A +1 AB here or a -1 AC there could mean a reduction of 50% damage taken or adding 100% more damage you take over a battle, not 5% like the game creators probably intended.

The end result is certain classes are fractionally useful in unfortunately common situations which I can see to be very frustrating.

I tend to cringe but try to give additional respect to anyone who plays one of the more mathematically challenged classes. I know that over their lifetime, it is possible they will take 1000% more damage then my 'easy mode' character.

29 ac fully buffed is not very good after L6.

I've seen too many 15 to 18 AB mobs that would eat you in 2 rounds (I'm sure you didn't mean to get their attention).

      Throwing stars maybe?

If we are excluding RP, monks are horrific. They cant buf and they cant tank. Even vs Mages, I'd rather have a high HP fighter then rely on the risky MR.

      RP wise they rock.

I like the Kossuth order that burned people at the stakes.

I know some are still kicking but that was one of my favorites thus far, because it allowed for the following:

      1. Lots of fear of infernal folks getting caught and burned (even if framed)
      2. Opportunities for folks to rescue their friends and kill the witch burners
      3. Opportunities for opportunistic folks to exploit opportunities.

    • RE: London Riots

It seems any place with lots of people living of the government and not working their own way, tend to riot on the drop of a hat. In America, we have LA, the riot capital of the planet.

I would argue if we can get the young people to socially invest (Time, Money, Effort) in their city or state earlier, they will be less inclined in burning down their 'own' city. Something they feel they helped build.

On the flip side, the more organizations give free stuff to people, they divest the people, ultimately making the people resentful of said organization.

I suspect it ties into macro cognitive dissidence:
"Either the government is giving me free stuff cause I suck, or better yet, because they 'owe' me for something." What would a person prefer to believe?

Any way to send an external event to a Facebook Application via Facebook Connect?

I suspect there are Tons of people that want to RP but have never heard of NWN/CoA and if we could reach out to them….

I don't know squat about NWN toolset, but maybe I can help on the Web Programming side.

      Status Ex:
"Eric's character 'Arrow Death' has made L9 after killing a Double Hobbit! "

I wouldn't add more quests. I would reduce the current amount. Instead make them more interesting (Concentrated fun). I really liked the add on dungeon (for those that want harder). I played the Fey thingy last night it kicked our arses, but was fun, if not too long/big (3 rooms would have been sufficient).

      IMO:
more quests + more areas + more spreading out of players = less social interaction and an increased feeling of emptiness.

Also, I would add more ways to encourage social interaction.

Trading games like cards of a magical deck are fun. Get the whole desk by trading cards with other players, and you get a resulting item.

You get a single card (out of a set of 10) now and then completing a quest, instead of all the new sadomasochistic random items (-1 this ouch , -1 that ouch, +1 something).

I miss mining in dangerous areas. I know some folks hated character created stuff, but now it seems the only loot is in dungeons and stores, like WoW.

I miss armor making. Everything is buyable now. Bleh. Market is empty.

There are 100 dif suits of plate armor, enchanted or not, all for sale.

I feel like all the jobs I enjoyed investing time in the game are now gone.

Belrak and I just smashed 5 minable rocks in the kobald caverns (after being asked to mine for rare minerals by CoG's Ruby) and found zilch.
