Over excited And and and these passive bonuses can be associated to "druidic totems" so the druids should both protect and try to get the others scattered around the other groves.

RE: What do you want for 'nature'?
I don't know how many groves but an idea would be to make them rival each other in some kind of "natural way".
Perhaps if we split the common aspects of "nature", or deities dogmas into the groves it could give something all druids can identify and connect with their own deities like:
- Hunter's Grove.
- Forest's Grove.
- Protection's Grove .
And they can be thematic, so Hunter's grove would grant tracking bonus and better animal companion options for damage. While the Forest Grove could have the best herbs, entangle/web bonus. Protection grove best healing and better animal companions to tank.
And since they are all based on "aspects of nature" you can fit most deities into any grove.
RE: idea: apps for evil characters with dm supported plot, sponsor dm
I think that already happens pretty often and naturally.
Play any kind of char long enough with a purpose in mind and DMs will catch up and tailor events and plots around it.
RE: Brainstorming:. Classes Supporting Themselves
Another quick and cool event would be stuff like "tower defense". You have to guard a certain location, person, object against hordes of enemies for XX time, it's just another take on the old Caravan quest. I think it might not need scripting and it's usually very inclusive (doesn't need a particular alignment).
Skill-based events would also be cool. Something that doesn't directly involve direct confrontation, like stealing a certain item from a noble house, put fake evidence in a crime scene, release a prisoner from jail, anything that if done well won't require a fight. I still want to see @SadGruffman being forced to drink a polymorph potion to be turned into a she-troll to infiltrate a Troll cave and get a sample for their super new poison.
